Description

Christmas is coming! And sooner than one might think it will be Christmas Day.
I didn't get into the right Christmas mood yet... well maybe a little bit but not as much as I wished to be. So I need your help to get me there. Just like last year I will send out as much of the good game keys I have as giveaways ending on Christmas Eve and instead of just saying "thanks" it would be great if you would contribute to get me (and most probably yourself and others as well) into Christmas mood by doing one of the following (If possible name uncommon favorites):

1) Name a Christmas Movie (your favorite, one you want to see yourself, one that has a special meaning for you this year, etc)

2) Name a Christmas Song or even better a Christmas Album and the Interpret singing the song or album (your favorite, one you want to listen to yourself, one that has a special meaning for you this year, etc)

3) Name a Christmas PC Game (your favorite, one you want to play yourself, one that has a special meaning for you this year, etc)

4) Tell me your Christmas Plans and what you will do on Christmas.

5) Tell a Christmas Story (real or fictional)

6) Send a good/funny Christmas Gif or Picture.

Thank you for your comments and have a great Pre-Christmas-Time! :-)

First of all, thank you!
Then,
1)The Grinch. Yeah, cliche and all, but it always get me into the Christmas spirit, every year. Or maybe The Muppet's A Christmas Carol, out of nostalgia... Oh, special mention to Shrek The Halls. I'd chug down any Shrek medium, no matter how bad it is
3)Popup Dungeon has a Christmas-themed campaign... does it count? With the big bad corona monster I ended up not being able to play D&D with the boys but this game "almost" gave me the same feel. Minus all the shenanigans, of course. (Also, just realized that I have several Halloween related games but not even one Christmas related. Shame on me, I guess)
4)Not much really. I can't visit my family due to Covid, so I'll just sit alone playing games. Money is a bit tight too, but maybe I'll gift myself a fancy dinner, I'm pretty sure I deserved it
5)This one is from two, maybe three years ago.
I had volunteered for dressing up as a mascot for the Christmas fair. Nothing too fancy, entertaining kids and handing out candies (I didn’t even snag any for myself. If that’s not Christmas spirit I do not know what is!), but I was having fun. Then, while I was trying desperately to eat food through the costume, a child started crying. Me, as well as a couple of other poor souls… I mean, other mascots, went to check what was going on. The boy, from 4 to 6 years old I’d say, lost his hat. We of course said we would help him looking for it, but, I can assure you, none of us was exactly eager to walk around the whole fair for one random kid. So of course I went back to slacking off near the food stands. Around 10 to 20 minutes later, I randomly see the hat under a bench. Now, the obvious thing to do would be to pick it up and look for the kid, right? Wrong. Allow me to introduce a little yet fundamental element into the equation: I’m as lazy as a rock. Who know where that kid ended up? I absolutely did not feel like looking for him around the whole place in that costume. And my shift was almost over. And maybe that wasn’t even his hat, just another one!
But I did it anyway, in the end. Call it Christmas spirit, karma, just trying no to be a douchebag for once… It felt like the right thing to do, even for someone as lazy and not caring as me. Locating the kid was a bit easier than I thought, he was trying to convince his parents to get his some hot chocolate (now I feel like getting some). And let me tell you, no matter how grinch-y I usually am, or how much I really did not care… that kid’s smile and hug maybe it all worth it. Even tho I can swear the parents were looking at me a bit concerned. Oh, and I was told by the other mascot-guys that the kid came back looking for me the following day… now I almost (ALMOST) wish I’d taken a shift the second day. Almost.

Sorry for being sooo long-winded, I get carried away a lot, hehe. And sorry for skipping 2), my music taste repels Christmas songs. And 6), I still have to figure out how to send those things here on SG (I take pride in the title of Dumb).
But, more importantly, what about you? Now I wanna hear your list too!

Thanks again for the chance and have a merry Christmas!

Thank you for your long-winded answers :) I really appreciate that. The time around Christmas and New Year was more stressful than I had expected so I had not much time to check my mails and answered the short ones first.

Regarding your answers:
1) The Grinch and The Muppets Christmas Carol are both great picks. I see them every year. I'm not really familiar with Shrek, never seen a movie. Maybe I should change that. In any case I made a note regarding "Shrek The Halls" so that I can see it next year.
It really is difficult for me to pin down my most favorite X-Mas movies. I have a whole list of movies I watch every year. But if I HAD to chose most important ones it would probably be "It's a Wonderful Life" and "Scrooged". The messages these movies try to tell are just so well delivered.

3) yeah it is not that easy to find christmas related games and I'm wondering about that myself. I just have a few christmas related small games (card games and stuff like that). Besides that "Arkham Origins" gives me good Christmas vibes because the setting of the game is Christmas Eve. I do have "Popup Dungeon" in my steam library, but didn't give it a try yet. It looks cool though. Thanks for mentioning it.

4) You surely do :) I hope you had a good time despite all the restraints. I spent time with my parents and my brother. I invited my father to breakfast at my place, visited my brother and later my mother. We had a good time but in a way it is the same as every year and something in me wants it different (next year).

5) What a lovely (christmas) story! The way you are telling it lets me feel that you know - besides your lazy and grinchy nature - that you did the right thing, that it was good what you did and that you want experiences like that again. So keep on the good "work" :) Really, thanks for sharing it in such great detail! I'm afraid I don't have any comparable christmas story at hand right now. During this christmas time I felt a bit heavy-hearted. There is a girl I'm starting to fall in love with. But she already has a boyfriend in Africa and she is about to move to him in the next few months. So without any hopes or expectations I will probably let her feel (without any romantic explicit words) that I'm interested in her knowing that she will probably reject me until she finally leaves and will be out of my life entirely. Not sure though, still trying to figure out what to do in my situation. Anyway, that's life.

6) Each time I want to send a pic as attachement here I have to check again how to do it :D
Although it is quite easy to do. You just have to write the following command:
