Well, this one won, so, here you go, one indie puzzle game for your pleasure.
Hm, looks like we are on our way to 5500–6000 entries. Edit: Or much more. :o

If a totally unforeseen large expense wouldn't have come during the week, they would have gotten that as well.

Sorry to hear about that - the unforeseen expense, I mean. Hope everything will be alright.

The latter. I had the game wishlisted ever since I read reviews of it, but given that I add every game I'm interested in playing to my wishlist so that I can use the convenient Wishlist function of SG to see every personally relevant giveaway, I have over 100 games on my wishlist.
Heck, I probably have more than 10 free games on my wishlist just as reminders to myself to play them when I have the time.

Thank you for the opportunity to make myself a Baba! ^ u^

1100 entries in less than 4 hours... apparently this is a pretty popular game! I had never heard of it before your poll.

Nah, it is just not filtered out for most people, and the thumbnail does not look like an asset flip. As much as I prefer level 0 public, you can bet that at least half of those entries are either points storage or bots.

thats sad. may I ask why you didn't go for a level 1 GA? Wouldn't that help?
Comment has been collapsed.
No, it would not. The percentage of bot accounts increases with level, with levels 8–10 being the worst. I do not like the tradeoff of shutting off 85% of the user base to get somewhat fewer bots but at the cost of a more substantial proportion of the entries.

What evidence do you have to support this? I'm not trying to be confrontational, just honestly curious.
Level 0 is certainly 85% of the user base, but given that it's trivially easy to get to level 1, it would seem that level 0 is filled with bots (because it's free) and people who don't care about the site or contributing to it in any way.
Levels 8-10 have ~1.3k users combined. Even if those levels have a higher percentage of bots than level 0 - which I have a hard time believing - that's not all that many bots compared to those in the 923K level 0 users.
I mean, you're free to use whatever level you want, and if you want to make level 0 entries specifically I understand and support that. But saying you'd get "somewhat fewer bots" but a "more substantial proportion [of bots]" at level 1 seems grossly inaccurate.

Search for the word "experiment" among the discussions. I did a set of them, and others followed suit later. They have the numbers.

I briefly skimmed one experiment, and found your conclusion that:
So that indicates, as we would expect, that level 0 and 1 have the most bots and/or auto-join script users.
Now you say you also found unusual behaviour among level 8-10 users, and I can totally understand that. You would need to give away $2000 in Real CV to reach level 8, $4000 to reach level 9, and $8000 to reach 10, and I think it's understandable that people who are giving away thousands of dollars worth of games (or exploiting bundles to reach that amount) are pretty unusual. I mean, look at yourself, and the experiments you've conducted. ;)

honestly I just found it through recommended section so part of it is because of that...

It wouldn't surprise me if it got 5000+ entries. I'm sure there are folks like me who only noticed it some 18 hours after it was posted, and we'll see a lot more entries appear in the next day or so.
Anyway, thanks for the great giveaway! :)
P.S. Sorry for flooding your inbox. :)
