Tiny little unbundled contribution to keep our train chugging along. :)

Noita is an explosive, deadly roguelite in which every pixel is simulated and can be affected―melted, burnt, frozen―which makes for plenty of chaos, and therefore lots of fun. Hope whoever wins this one enjoys it!

Thank yous are always welcome, but if you'd like to answer a question instead: what's one of your favourite things about the summertime?

what's one of your favourite things about the summertime?

The lack of snow :)

See, if I go too long without snow I end up missing it, especially come Christmastime. It's been the bane of living in various warmer regions or subtropical countries in the past, that the winters were too mild for me.

More daylight is another thing I like about summertime. It's somewhat depressing when it is dark when I arrive at work and dark when I leave work!

And. specific to where I live, the Sun is high enough in the sky that I am not driving directly into it and getting blinded. But those days are coming, every day the Sun is more and more in my eyes.

You should find a job that pays better than just filling shelves for a couple of hours in the middle of the night. 😼

Just kidding, I'm at latitude 56°N and know exactly of which you speak!

Kind of, the long days. But mostly, that summer eventually ends. I'm not made for 35°C and almost 30°C nights, it's a struggle.

Oh I know that struggle!
I find everything above 24C or so to much!
Here we have a humid climate and we call something a heatwave when it's 3+ days 25C or higher so those 38C+ are killing it...

Seasonal food is definitely one of my favourite things! Summer meant fresh lotus pods and water chestnuts in China, which were some of my favourite snacks.

that's great!! I hadn't heard those before, so I guess I have new snacks to try (and search probably, something tells me they'll be difficult to find where I am xD)

Check your local Asian grocery store, if you have one! I've had some luck finding water chestnuts in Canada at the big ones. (No luck with lotus pods, though. I think you really need to be there for those.)

Traditionally lots of people leave the city in the summer, leaving behind a less packed, more livable environment for the rest of us who won't be taking vacations. I like that.

Almost forgot: thanks for the uber nice gib.

Sunshine and fruits. They almost make up for the humidity.

what's one of your favourite things about the summertime?

Air conditioning :-)

Also, getting the chance to hang out with friends I don't get to see as often.
Plus the wife likes to grow a small veggie garden with tomatoes, cucumbers, etc.

Veggie gardens are the best! My parents have a ton of vegetables and herbs growing in their yards and it makes such a difference for cooking when you can just hop out back and snip a bit of what you need fresh off the stem.

🥒ヽ(=´Θ`=)ノ🍅 Farming
At this time of year, we look forward to the offerings of crops from humanity engaged in agriculture.
Alert, flood avoidance, typhoon avoidance, and water hazard avoidance options are available.

I don't like to leave the water too often...
Recently, I have been growing strange plants in my room.
It is shaped like a bell pepper, an eggplant, and a pepper, and I have been questioning how it will taste.
During the first harvest...
It tasted like a bell pepper and a chili pepper (light).
Now, as we await the second harvest, they have changed to the aforementioned shape and are unpredictable.
Don't worry, we won't release it into the nature. (人Θ'o) ☣☣☣

Love those weird frankengarden results! My parents are too careful with their yard to get anything like that, but I've heard about some crazy hybrids cropping up.

the best is to go to the beach and dive into the cold water and after you exhausted yourself with swimming eating delicious food. it tastes even better after that.

The warm weather, the sun, the views when hiking (i do hikings in the winter too but it is very different), lesser clothes (which can be a nice thing for the eyes^^).

But i don't like how high the temp. gone the last years on the extreme days because i had up to 45°C in my flat, in germany (it feels like a asian country on such days). When the breathing is a pain it is unfunny.

The winter is cold, my flat bad isolated, bicycling not nice too and i am too often "down" because not enough sun.

So i am a summer guy, that try to stay in the shadows :D
