I'm just putting this here because it's something I wish I'd known sooner, but Fahrenheit 451 is actually a wonderfully optimistic book. It gets mentioned in the same breath as 1984 so often that I assumed they'd be similar in tone, but not at all. If anyone's feeling a little hopeless about the state of the world, I'd recommend giving it a read.

I remember the end of 1984 as 'bad', meaning that there is no hope... or maybe yes because the book refers to "Doublethink" in past tense as if in the present it's not longer in use.

xD Already own it, but I grew up with this game haha Its surprisingly fun for an older educational game. I used to kill hours to it haha Goodluck to everyone :)
