Samuel L. Jackson got the role of Mace Windu partly due to an interview he had in 1996. He was on the British talk show "TFI Friday" to promote a different movie when he was asked which film he would like to have a role in. He replied that he wished to be in the Star Wars prequel. Casting director Robin Gurland saw the interview, and the rest is history!

I heard that he refused to do the movie unless he got a purple lightsaber but I've never seen that video. Thats hilarious :P

Thanks a lot for the game (⌒ω⌒)ノ
Hope you are getting mostly spoiler free through the project ^^
Watched the prequels in cinema when they hit (found them alright at the time), the originals previously on TV (they are still great today).
Really wanted more movies back then but Lucas pouty refused.. my interest fizzled out since, Disney came along, was catiously optimistic first but yeah, haven't even watched whatever they yanked out..
On a slightly different note, what do you think about Star Trek?

Luckily no one has spoiled anything that wasn't already spoiled for me! Also I have not seen Star Trek either D: I've only seen the 2009 Movie which is probably not a good reprensentation of the franchise lol
