I don't really have a favourite poet. But I appreciated Bacovia's work. One of a few romanian writers I liked growing up. His poems might sound different in English, though. you could consider him a symbolist, in the vein of Poe, and the like. his stuff is melancholic.

I don't have a favourite poem, either. But most recently I read Wilfred Owen's "Dulce et decorum est", which I like.
