I gotta say, I actually like the gameplay of 3 more than 2 since it seems they did away with that darned tracking/aimbot on the AI.

I know, I'm freak, but I don't think DarkS2 is somehow worse than any other game in series.
Maybe it's because I've started from DarkS2, and continue in DarkS1 & Demon Souls :)

I wouldn't say worse either, but just not as fun or fair. Darn rat-dog boss thing turned direction mid-air during a leap attack because I rolled. It killed me and I put down the game for a loooooong while because of it.
I love the combat in 3 more, world and experience in 1 more, and graphics in 2 more (weird right?).
