Description

Stop and read if you want a better chance to win games!

This giveaway is for a cheap bundled game with bad reviews. There are much better giveaways that the Level 0 users among you are missing out on. Do you want to be able to enter those giveaways, and get a better chance to win games? Here are some tips:

  • Level up. You can actually do it without spending money. More here.
  • Participate in the forum. A couple of great reasons to do it:
    • Many of the discussions are not only interesting, but also include additional giveaways. Some in the form of posts with random links to giveaways that are not listed in the Giveaways page (these are called "invite-only giveaways", but anyone who sees the link can enter). Some other giveaways in the form of "trains" (multiple linked giveaways), and finally there are some giveaways which are only accessible if you complete a puzzle. Many of the forum giveaways are for games with great reviews, and the number of entries is typically much lower than public giveaways (those listed on the Giveaways page), providing far better odds.
    • If you're opinionated and well versed, some people may add you to their whitelists because of what you write, regardless of the number of giveaways you created (if at all). Whitelist-based giveaways are frequently for unbundled games and have a relatively low number of entries. I have many great people in my whitelist, but those who ended there by writing exceptionally interesting, insightful or helpful posts on the forum can feel especially proud. I know that's how I felt in the few cases people added me for this reason and not for my sent/won ratio.
  • Join giveaway groups. See this sub forum for group that recruits new users. In general you may want to contribute some giveaways before applying, as most groups have some requirements for entry.
  • Read giveaway descriptions before entering. It's not only the polite thing to do, but as an added bonus you may discover some additional giveaways linked in the text.

One last thing: Don't feel obligated to say "thank you", but if you do, please don't post it to all of my giveaways. This would result in too many notifications which are difficult for me to go through. Posting in one giveaway is perfectly fine.

SGTools GA filter #2 (somewhat restrictive):

((level==0 && num_won==3..10) || (level>=1 && (real_sent_group+real_sent_region_restricted)/real_sent_cv <=0.7 && ratio_real >= 0.2)) && pass_activated_rule && last_multiple_win <= date_modify(date('now'),'-2 years') && !VAC_economy_ban

It means that users who can enter these GAs include:

Level 0 with 3 to 10 wins
or
Level 1 or higher who won up to 5 times more than they gave, and whose value of exclusive GAs (group or region restricted) is not higher than 70% of the total value of their GAs.

In addition, all users must have activated all games won, must not have multiple wins in the last 2 years, and must never have been trade banned by Steam.

SGTools GA filter #3 (less restrictive):

((level==0 && num_won<=10) || (level>=1 && (real_sent_group+real_sent_region_restricted)/real_sent_cv <=0.9 && ratio_real >= 0.1)) && pass_activated_rule && last_multiple_win <= date_modify(date('now'),'-2 years') && !VAC_economy_ban

It means that users who can enter these GAs include:

Level 0 with up to 10 wins
or
Level 1 or higher who won up to 10 times more than they gave, and whose value of exclusive GAs (group or region restricted) is not higher than 90% of the total value of their GAs.

Users who can enter these GAs include:

Anyone with up to 10 wins (including Level 0)
or
Level 2 or higher who won up to 10 times more than they gave, and whose value of exclusive GAs (group or region restricted) is not higher than 90% of the total value of their GAs.
or
Have the game wishlisted prior to the creation of the thread and have less than 500 games in their wishlist

In addition, all users must have activated all games won and must never have been trade banned by Steam.

Everyone except rule breakers and people with terrible ratios:

pass_activated_rule and not trade_ban and ratio_number_giveaways >= 0.1 and ratio_real >= 0.1

Those who never won, or everyone else who is not a rule breakers and doesn't have terrible ratios

num_won == 0 OR (pass_activated_rule AND not trade_ban AND ratio_number_giveaways >= 0.1 AND ratio_real >= 0.1)

Requirements to enter:

  1. Have the game wishlisted earlier than today and have in total no more than 500 games on your wishlist.
  2. Have ratio that's not terrible and have no history of rule breaking. Alternatively, those who haven't won anything yet can also enter, regardless of giving anything.

To enter you need to fulfill one of these requirements:

  • Have the game wishlisted already & with wishlist smaller than 350 games & have ratio that isn't terrible (won up to 10 times more than gave)
    or
  • Have the game wishlisted already & with wishlist smaller than 350 games & have no wins at all. Level 0 users who fit these requirements are welcome too.
    or
  • Contributing collectors. Have the game wishlisted already & gave at least 30% more than won
    or
  • Non-lurking contributors. Level 4+, no more than 70% group or region locked giveaways, at least 10% forum giveaways, gave at least 50% more than won

To enter you need to meet either of these two sets of requirements:

  1. Have the game on your wishlist, have a wishlist that's up to 350 games long, and either have no wins or have wins but with ratio that's not terrible (up to 10 times more wins)
    or
  2. Give more than you win, and have the majority of those giveaways accessible to everyone (either as public GA or in the forum)
