A little something I picked up to gift y'all. I love The Elder Scrolls, and wanted to share with someone here. Unfortunately, Bethesda region locked the fuck out of it, which kinda irks me to no end. In a perfect world, everyone would be able to gift everyone else.
Question: What games would you never play? Either out of disgust with a part of it, or because you find the dev morally repugnant? Or because of disabilities, or whatever reasons? I'm not playing anything like RapeLay. I want nothing to do with rape, virtual or otherwise. Especially rape that involves children. It squicks me tf out.

Not sure this fits the question, but I'd never play precision platformers due to hand problems/pain. I have seen disabled people play platformers using only voice controls. which was so neat! I'm surprised steam allows the type of game you linked- or maybe that one isn't on steam. Thanks for the chance at Morrowind :)

Oop. I should have added something like that into my question, because I'm always interested in answers like yours. Going to add it in a second.
I'm not able to play precision platformers very well, due to my disabilities, so I get it. Though I do try my best for stuff like Super Meat Boy and VVVVVV. I just have to play them when my brain fog and hand spasms are at a minimum. Same with any twitch-heavy game. That's why I like playing point & click adventures and puzzle games like Spring Falls.
It's not on Steam, thank god. I think folks would riot if a major storefront was selling it. I honestly don't know of any storefronts that carry it or similar games, and I wish to keep it that way. Let the dark web have this trash.
You are quite welcome! I wish you much luck!

Being able to play those two games some of the time is awesome. I’m sorry to hear you’re dealing with that and can relate to the brain fog problem and sticking to point and click/puzzles. Difficulty options can be a lifesaver, too! And pov sliders for dizziness. I wish more developers would consider different effects for flashing lights or decreasing the contrast for those. Even if it doesn’t affect most people, I wouldn’t want to give even one person a seizure.
I don’t know if this is still the case, but some games got around the rules by having a downloadable patch. At least it’s not possible to accidentally stumble on such things there.
Thank you! (Sorry I replied in the wrong place)

Yeah, it's nice to have one of those days when I can play some more twitch-based games. I once played Borderlands 2 all day and beat some raid bosses. It was good. And I've also had good enough days to absolutely destroy some of the bullet hell bosses in The Binding of Isaac.
But there are slow games for the bad days, so I am happy. I can always play through one of the hundreds of puzzle games available.
There needs to be more of a move towards accessibility. There are devs who do things really well, but they're somewhat rare. VVVVVV is one with good accessibility features for those with cognitive issues, as are Psychonauts 2 and Hades.
I'm happy that more devs are keeping people like me in mind. Especially with Psychonauts 2, because some of its enemies were frustrating without help.
I've done that, too, so I get it.

I can't think of many. I played some controversial games in the past out of curiosity like the one above, but I wish I didn't ^^" Those games give people trauma, kinda ashamed of my younger self.
Hmm, Postal III is a game I never buy because the devs don't deserve the money (not Running With Scissors, they are better devs), but I want to play just to see how sh!t it is :P
Also I don't support a few devs, mainly because they're scummy and shitty people.
Thanks for both Elder Scrolls btw! Only played Skyrim, should also give Arena and Daggerfall a try since they're free.

I've been curious about RapeLay, but I'm glad I didn't check it out. I've heard it's rather graphic with its depictions of sexual violence. I decided to play something else instead of torrenting it.
I have wondered about Postal III, but every time I consider it, I just play Postal II instead. It's a much better game that's still quite fun. Though I would try PIII if it was free. I'd probably go back to II after a handful of minutes, though.

Yeah, PIII doesn't exists :P Postal 2 is still fun :D Should replay it.

This will forever be my Postal III lol

I honestly can't see myself playing PvP shooters like Valorant or CS:GO because honestly, PvP in general ends in me being irritated after 1-5 matches. I've been trying to cut genres that lead to me getting upset because I play games to have a good time, not to be stressed out or angry. I'm also not great at FPS games in general lol.
Also, thank you for the chance at Morrowind and Oblivion!

I hate PVP. I'd rather play with other people, not against them. Though I have been annoyed when my team went off without me in Left 4 Dead. But that was a pub game, and pubs are full of notoriously stupid people. But I have met good pub players, which is why I'm not going to say I'd never play public matches again.
