I wouldn't call it "trick" or "increase". You still won't get more than the max. 576 points per day that everyone gets, as long as they make sure to spend their points and stay below the 400 points cap.
You can enter and leave giveaways at any time, as long as they're running. When you enter, you "pay" with points, when you leave, you "refund" those. "Refunding" can take you over the 400 cap. You still won't earn any new points while being over the cap, but you can use longer running giveaways to basically "bank" some points, keep earning points due to still being under the 400 cap, and later "withdraw" those points when needed.
It does take quite some time and effort to constantly stay on top of it and it also depends a lot on the overall amount of giveaways available to you. The lower your level and the more games you already own, the less space in your "bank deposit". Most people probably already do a similar thing, where they leave giveaways of lesser interest and/or with lower chances, to be able to enter new giveaways of more interest and/or with better chances, whenever they run out of points. This just takes that to the next level.

I'm not saying it's cheating, just that I was'nt even aware you could do that :D

True, it's not that obvious. :)

Yep, I used this "trick" a lot in the past. But now I spend much less time on SG, so I abandoned it. But must admit, that this train made me spend more time here, at least for a while...

Whatever. Do a cake day party! We will scrounge points somewhere, if needed. Celebrate if you feel like celebrating. 💜
