Hehe thanks, sure why not, a bit tricky but not too bad. :D

Everything seems doable after you get a hang of it. Although some achievements do require to get out of your way and replay the game in low difficulty with specific targets to get them. For me the hardest will always be the speedrun one. I can't play this fast and win.... Its a turn based game, not a race ffs.

I'm not that confident with my luck xD. And yeah 20 min speed run is the hardest for me too.
My fastest run is barely below 1 hr lol, I'm so bad at it!

1 hour is good you are faster than me. xD

I don't believe in luck in this game. Every run can be manipulated to become winnable.
Losses are mostly due to our own mistakes tbh and everyone does those, even pros.

Well if you are good enough at it, u can control or at least minimalize the luck aspect in this game (like reducing/ controlling the number of cards on deck) and I'm still not on that level yet xD

But you really need luck in this game, for example just hope you didn't meet time-keeper when you have silent's shiv deck or ironclad's infinite combo (ugh)

Time Eater is in general a boss that makes you draft the deck differently in your entire run, so that you can also have a win condition in case he shows up. This is something that you will end up doing eventually after a decent amount of xp, planning for the harder battles, throughout the whole run and this includes some hard elite fights. Its possible to kill time eater with an infinite, but it does require you to play such a deck quite differently than normally and knowing when to stop and what to play each round. In act 2 and 3 especially, try to focus on drafting cards that help both immediately but also in endgame. Don't settle for stuff that only works early in a run. Anyway that's my advice on this part.

As for silent I am on ~A14 now, but i never had to specifically hunt for shiv decks. I can get a few shiv cards in some runs, but imo its not very good to go all out on them, it can easily backfire in some situations. Time eater may be one of them.

Finally, controlling rng is not just having a small deck there is way more ways to control rng in a deck, although removing strikes can definitely help a lot. You can make 30 or 35 card decks that can work well and consistently. It depends. My best silent decks are usually the ones with lots of draw/discard mechanics, you can shuffle through the whole deck in one turn or so. They can become pretty filthy and crazy even for the heart some times. So it does not matter much if something is in initial draw or not in these cases.

In any case my point is you don't need luck if you plan your deck and run accordingly, thankfully there are countless ways to slay the spire and that's the beauty of it. Just keep at it you will get there.

shiv deck really fun tried it for the achievement and it was one of the solid runs xd
the most chaotic run I ever had is with defect with his add a card in a new turn (and +echo form) etc kinda forget, been a long time since I play defect. Kinda enjoy watcher the most atm

yep, I get your point. slay the spire is fun, right bro?

Sure more than fun! I always rotate between all classes, I don't want to neglect anyone for long LOL.

Yeah i get what you mean I haven't had a good shiv deck to get that achievement although i'm sure it will happen eventually just didn't hunt for it yet.

You probably mean hello world (or white noise?) + echo form or something. Defect is great when he finally scales lategame, but also difficult in terms of deckbuilding, in order to survive the whole run, especially on higher ascensions and in act 2. I have yet to master this class, its very tricky on what cards to draft at what situations during the climb.

I do enjoy all of the classes so far, although watcher is the latest class they added, which brought me a lot of joy for the first 10+ runs or something I did, now I just think its too overpowered though! :D
