As stated above if the game is free somewhere you can not give it away here. I put them on my activity page and let my friends have the key if I do not want it.

As far as I understand, and that is from reading what others have said in the forums, once a game is given for free you cannot give it away here, whether you got it for free or if you paid for it. That game cannot be given away here and still be within the rules. People still do it, that is up to you. I got burned by that recently, which is why I know.
