Thanks! I checked out your Soundcloud and it sounds nice. I found it interesting that a "thread" in SURF, Video Entertainment System, and The Friend Zone sound similar. I've never made music before so.... Keep up the nice work!
I kind of thought about it as vocals without vocals. You know how an artist can be featured on three different songs where their voice is about the same on each but the content is different? Something like that
That is an interesting concept. At first I wasn't sure if it was a conscious decision, or something that just happened. Now I see that it is an artistic decision. I also thought about it for a bit, and at first, I kind of thought of it as a variation on a theme, but then I realize how prominent the tune is is quite different in each piece.
