Description

Got this through a giveaway, but I was never a fan of traditional JRPGs. Maybe one of you guys will enjoy it more than me.

Giveaway came from https://www.twitch.tv/eastxtwitch. They're a good couple of streamers, although they mostly give away Xbox codes. Pay them a visit if you want.

Thank you for the fantastic giveaway!

Hmmm, I guess it's kinda unlikely that you know the answer since you said you aren't a fan of such games, but just in case- Do I need to have played any of the other Atelier games first? The names imply that they all tell different stories of different characters but I'd rather ask to be sure... ^_^'

Either way, thank you very much for the giveaway! :D

This is the last game on the Atelier Mysterious Trilogy, you don't really need to play the previous games, but there are recurring characters and you will ignore some facts about them.

Hmmm, I guess it'd be better if I play the other games first then. I mean, I'm sure 98% of the entries don't care, but I'd rather not try to take it away from the other ~2% that actually wanna play it as a sort-a sequel.
Thank you for the info. :)

As I understand it, one difference in this one is that it doesn't have a time limit (a turn limit, really, since time doesn't pass in real time in any of them.) So if you don't like games with that sort of pressure and want to be able to just fool around making whatever, you'd probably prefer this one to its prequels.

I don't mind really. A game mechanic is a game mechanic. I can deal with it. :)

No and yes. No because the story and main characters are different. Yes because there are some character from the past two game and some backstory you probably wouldn't understand.

So, kinda like Hyperdimension Neptunia then? Except there the characters are the same and sometimes they make small references to the previous games but the stories are unrelated. Still I should probably play the other games first...
Thank you for the info. :)
