Can't say I've watched a ton, but I do love The Grudge. Might be the only one I've seen, come to think of it. Not a big TV/movie person, to be honest.

Would Spirited Away count as horror? :)

Well, as I child, some scene did scare me a bit, but I still would not call it a horror movie. Sorry!

I am not a fan of horror movies. Or rather, there aren't many good horror movies.
The ones I enjoyed are: Grudge, Ring and The Wailing.
I prefer psychological horror over the "normal" horror, though again there aren't many good one. The best psychological horror I have ever experienced, though an anime, is "Higurashi". Well, it was also my first true psychological horror, so maybe I give it a little more credit than it deserves.

I highly recommend Kairo(2001) and The Others (2001). Both are psychologial horror movies that don't rely on jumpscares

Seen The Others, it's awesome. Sadly the OP wanted only Asian movies.
Kairo (2001) seems interesting, though it's not highly rated. I tend to skip anything below 7 for foreign language movies, so never noticed it. Maybe I'll try it. #jumpscaressuck

Thank you for the opportunity to take part in the imagination of an ill child, accompanied by wonderfully composed music! ^ u^
Sorry, I'm not really a horror fanatic, so I can't answer your question > ->;

sorry, I'm not into asian horror movies
but if you like suspense I can recommend Oldboy

The Ring, as far as horror goes.
The Stranger is also worth watching.
The Others (not asian, as mentioned above) is one of my favourite horror films, it really gives me the creeps.
Thanks for the GA!
