I'm going to guess Chemical Engineering, that's what I studied and I did a lot of work with the refrigerant R134a.

well i can give you a general idea, i can't go on with details cause it might damage my publication later on, sorry about that :)
it is a 2 pde's that are coupled with each others by some variables, it represent a 3 simoultaneious chemical reactions inside a vessel full of packing materials, i had to solve this system by hand not by a simulator due to the lack of license for these softwares here in Jordan :)
so yeah it was a tough 2 months, but thankfully i was able to finish it and now i am trying to publish it as a research paper :)

thank you and welcome :) , technically i didn't finish the thesis entierly, 8 months and counting ...
but the last 2 months were so stressful and frustrating and full of intense work due to the complicated model i was working on, i had to celebrate it somehow :P !! if this research went on and was published, i will make multiple GAs with a AAA games and that is a promise! :D

thank you :) chemical engineering is really difficult specially when you consider some advanced materials in it like CFD and transient systems, even with simulators and professional softwares it is unbearable :P !! transient behaviour of my system took around 1800-2000 mathematical equations to simulate the behaviour in the tank for 1 minute, and all of that was done by hand for 180 minutes of simulation !! :P
