About regional pricing, the best advice I could give is to check on steamdb first and going from their. The magic number is around ~10% and since you are in AUS and use USD, you will not be able to gift to mostly EU peeps. The one exception is with AAA where you pay "Jelly of the beach" tax, making you the most expensive store in general.
