OMG. Eye injections??? My condolences. That sounds like something heavy to deal with. You literally see the needle coming and feel it entering into your eyeball??
shivers

I think my friend made me play Dead Space only because of this. So he would not be the only one who was traumatized xD

At UC Davis they have a small nuclear plant, and there's an eye irradiation treatment, where you sit in this chair, with this Looney Tunes style 15 foot long zapper pointed at your eye, focusing all the radiation into that spot.
Modern Medicine is weird.

Are you kidding me? It's for treating cancers right? It feels scary as hell (and this comes from someone who's being injected things in his eyes)

Yeah, for precision zapping of eye tumors. I'm glad it exists, but I also hope to never have to sit in such a chair. The eye doctor visits with their "don't blink while I check" machine is nervous enough for me already.

I suppose it's a cyclotron, so I'm perhaps being imprecise. But it's in a nuclear laboratory, and focuses a proton beam, using its focused radiation... So I guess I'm not terribly off. You can see a chair and part of the machine in the wide angled photo at the top of the linked page.

Haha, I wasn't even aware there was a character in LOL with this issue. Fun :=)

Huh, so he did make a remaster of the game. I wonder if the game still has that very weird secret ending and if he bothers to explain what actually is happening.
