for mine and doing nothing cos i never read what it said Region Restrictions DOH
is 1st time i have had to use it so hope it works out and i remember the next time :-D
I think you did it correctly. The region restriction on SG giveaways means "only people from the selected region may join". So for example if you chose "Germany" only the German users would be able to view the giveaway.
SG does not have Europe as a region, for whatever reason. So you'll just have to give a warning and reroll until you're successful. :)

I understand in theory why they do it, but it's so irritating.

Think its locked to the region the buyer buys from, me being in Scotland, i would say its EU untill Brexit or is it 8-/
