Your inability to pause Humble Choice certainly is nice for the steamgifts community, though I still wish you the best that you'll be able to pause it next time if you wish to.
Due to gestures broadly life, I've unfortunately decided to just cancel, even though I was (barely) grandfathered into Classic. My current backlog is obscene and thanks to unfortunate life stuff, it's unlikely to improve. And accidentally losing $12 a month will hurt a bit more going forward. So I'm afraid this is my last hurrah for Choice extras.
