I have heard of a few games that look like Legends of Grimrock but from what I read they use the same angine that Legend of Grimrock used and that engine comes with many textures and graphics that is why there are a few games that look like Grimrock.

Still I want to check it out and even see if this is a copy or not. Enemies look different and magic system is different I think.

If I ever will get my hands on this game I will see what is what :P

Best of luck! Yeah the grid-based dungeon crawler is based on a very old genre. Legend of Grimrock was not the first by any means. Also check out The Quest, Legends of Amberland, the old Might & Magic games, etc

Thank you for the info I played all Might & Magic games. Legends of Amberland looks just too old and ugly for me vs other dungeon crawlers that look like Grimrock (The Fall of the Dungeon Guardians) or other games of that genre like Vaporum and StarCrawlers.

The Quest looks nice but what bothers me is that there is 1 DLC and then there are 9 "additional items for this game" that are also DLCs.

Was there something specific they copied? Grid-based dungeon crawlers are a pretty old genre, that's why I'm curious.

That is also why I want to check if they only used the same graphic for environment or if they copy whole Grimrock map and maybe puzzles and only changed monsters and player races and combat/magic system.
