Sometimes I cant sleep because it's weird how everything would be gone and mean absolutely nothing when we die...

May I know what religion you subscribe to (if any)? :)

used to be a christian... now i just dont know anymore... I read the Bible and most of the things written there are pretty strict.
Half of the things we do are a sin. It's pretty weird how we "adapt" the christianity in some ways...A lot of people tend to decide what's good and what's not good. Take for example the Homosexual Marriage (before anything, im not against it, nor against homosexuals). Some countries accept it, some dont. My country and most of the people in it are disgusted about such things. It's all really fucked up. Either way... Heaven doesn't seem like a real thing to me. "UUUHHH IF YOU DO BAD STUFF YOU GO TO HELL AND BURN HUHUUHHUHRRUHHRUHRDD untill you feel sorry about what u did and stuff."
btw i tried to add you on steam for the Soundtrack DLC on Elements >.> (Azrael)

Hmm ... well, can't give you advice on religion either way. Just wanted to know your state of mind :)
I'm a Buddhist by the way, and though it's not strict, it doesn't promise heaven for those that are heavily in karmic debt.
Hence, most laymen practitioners aren't going to nirvana, but that's not the end of the world. The world is a cycle of life and rebirth. Live the best you can now, and you will be reborn into a much karmic-less debt life.

thats the most fucked up thing religions teach us...
We should BE GOOD for the goodness sake... not because of somewhat fear... or a false/true promise.
We should BE NICE because that's how people should be...
I rather live by an old saying from childhood: "Don't do to others what you wouldn't want done to you."

Actually, in Buddhism, there's no good or bad. It's all karmic cycles on how you live your life and your next. If you don't get your dues now, you'll get it later. And by dues, there aren't good or bad dues, just dues that you have sown in a previous time.
Just like a seed that is planted by you, it will grow to what you've planted.

And thanks for the key :)
It seems that I already own it. It's for one of the OSTs right? I think I won it a few hours ago >.<

I like this particular line in the book:
According to the Buddha's teaching, doubt (vicikiccha) is one
of the five Hindrances (nivarana) 3 to the clear understanding
of Truth and to spiritual progress (or for that matter to any
progress). Doubt, however, is not a 'sin', because there are no
articles of faith in Buddhism. In fact there is no 'sin' in Buddhism,
as sin is understood in some religions.

sorry for not being very responsive... a lot of shit happened in these few hours. Had to travel back to my hometown.
Thank you so much for all the info. Hopefully Buddhism will change my perspective about life and death. Im pretty tired of forcing myself to sleep because of the thought of no actual life after death. I cant assure you i'll turn to buddhism or something, but some of the teachings might be helpful as i might follow them.
