Description

EDIT: I have to edit the description of this giveaway because of LOT of misunderstanding. I should just remove this and get rid of all the "problem" it is causing, but I was so happy to share that I'll give it a last try.

I have got this game in my inventory. You can easily see here

http://steamcommunity.com/id/otinad/inventory/#753

or here

http://postimage.org/image/brd2u0s23/

About single games from bundles, yes, I repeat and I confirm that this comes from a bundle somehow. Seems like sometimes, when you buy a bundle containing games you already have, Steam gives you a copy of it in your inventory. I don't know how it works (I'm noobish, I admit) but I know it does. It happened some times ago with EDGE, it's happening now with Bit.Trip Runner. I HAVE IT IN MY INVENTORY.

About rules, here is the rule that allows me to do so. Please read: http://www.steamgifts.com/forum/vUnIE/important-updates-to-contributor-values-and-bundle-games

So, this is legit. I am trying to give something to the community, I just don't get why so much dissing.

Well, good luck with this giveaway..Anyway! :-)

(OLD DESCRIPTION: Hi! This is my first giveaway! I got this game again from Humble Bundle and I want to share it with you guys.

In case you wonder, even though I've redeemed the Humble Bundle Steam code, since I already had Bit.Trip Runner in my library they put my second copy of the game in the inventory.

I've screenshotted my inventory for you; it's in Italian, but I'm sure you can recognize the game being there :-)

So... :-) Good luck!

I will add you once you win and send my gift.

(Note: I'm an University student and I'm attending some exams these days, so I might not be always available here or in Steam...Please prepare (just in case) to eventually wait 1 day until I add you to my Steam Friend list and send the game. Thank you :-D)
)

1st. And thank you veryy much.

I've only ever heard of HiB giving extra BITTRIP codes, I got an extra copy of BITTRIP BEAT from the android bundle.

Thanks, but I already got this from HiB6 bonus, it's pretty fun, but frustrating when you mess up on the last section and have to restart

I don't think you can gift this game if you got it from the Humble Bundle. The key has more than that one game and when you claim it it's added immediately to your library, not your inventory.

Hi, thank for your comment. Actually I can gift it, even though I've redeemed the Humble Bundle (and I already had Bit.Trip Runner in my library) they put my second copy of the game in the inventory.

I've already done something like this with EDGE, bought during the Humble Android Bundle 3: I've gifted the second copy they gave me to a friend of mine and everything worked just fine.

Anyway, since I understand your doubts, I've screenshotted my inventory for you; it's in Italian, but I'm sure you can recognize it :-)

P.S. I'm adding this explanation to my main comment of the giveaway.

Bullshit, HB doesn't add games to your inventory.
Regardless, gifting HB is against SG rules. Remove it or get suspended, your choice.

HIB doesn't give you an extra game, but some Steam bundles do. And if one of those bundle is already on the account, the way Steam handle extra copies they get triggered when adding the HIB key. (I got an extra Torchlight from my HIB key because of my TL2 preorder) What he's giving away is that extra giftable copy and that's allright. No foul play on this one.

And giving HIB isn't against the rules, it's misrepresenting the game that is.

It does add games to your inventory in very specific conditions. If you bought a Steam bundle that gives you inventory copies if you already have the game and then redeem a Humble Indie Bundle key which has the game, you get a extra on your inventory.

Gifting HiB is not against the rules. You have no idea what you're talking about.

Plus he says he's giving out an inventory copy anyways. Get off your high horse.

Gifting individual games from HB is against the rules. You are correct that full HB bundles are allowed.

"I got this game again from Humble Bundle and I want to share it with you guys."

You've been a member for six months, you should know the rules.

Technically its not from Humble Bundle, and from the Steam Store Bundle.

You said "gifting HB is against SG rules" which is blatantly untrue without the specification that the bundle has been split. Even if you did specify, we're treading into murky water. Giving away a 4 game bundle key represented as a single game may break the "Do not misrepresent the title being given away" rule, however, I would argue that this is incorrect. I have seen many giveaways that state "if you win this giveaway, I will also give you the DLC to this game." Is this also misrepresenting the giveaway because you get extras? In my interpretation of the rules, this rules is there to prevent guest passes, beta keys, etc masquerading as the real games.

How about Dustforce giveaways? That is a split bundle key but it is certainly not "misrepresenting" anything. Now I know the argument that you will give is that HiB does not allow transferring of keys. HOWEVER, nowhere in the rules does it state that you may not give away the keys. I read through the relevant threads in full when they were first posted, and I do know CG stated that we should "review that bundle's terms of service to ensure you have permission to do so." This is NOT an explicit statement that such giveaways are not allowed. In fact, the first statement of the paragraph "There's no longer a restriction on what games can be given away, assuming they're not guest passes or beta keys" should completely squash any kind of argument you have.

At any rate, the entire point of the contributor system overhaul was so that these kinds of giveaways could be created.

You've been a member for 9 months, you should know the rules or at least know that some rules are not set in stone and are open for debate.

Next time just mention "Tradable copy from my inventory", with screenshot. You will avoid all the kiddies who cry wolf about everything remotely suspicious.

For giving away something from his inventory?

Maybe you should read the whole description before you jump to conclusions and make yourself look like a dumbass.

Thank you, very nice. Yet I don't see the point. Read again the description, please.

A lot of people immediately assume you're doing something wrong before they read the description. Basically, they're rude and dumb. The fact that it's in a bundle and people have been listing the bundle under individual games for more contributor value sets them off.

Anyhow...I'm not going to enter because I have it but it's a great game so on behalf of everyone, thanks for giving the opportunity to win it! Hopefully people won't bug you about it so much anymore :)

His gift inventory is probably private, as many peoples' are. He posted a screenshot that clearly shows it. You should reaad the descriptions more carefully.

Hi, I've updated my privacy settings in Steam: now my inventory is public and visible. Fell free to check, please.

Also,I just don't understand why everybody is dissing my giveaway, I hoped it could be nice to share instead to just give it to a friend of mine. I'm confused o_o'
