Best Final Fantasy ?

From the main games I like 7, 9 and 10 best. But I think my all time favorite is the spinoff, Dissidia Final Fantasy. I haven't played Duodecim yet, but I'm look forward to buying it after my wallet recovers from this year's Steam Sales :)

Final Fantasy VII

VII, IX and X. Also VIII is good too. Don't even play XIII, it's a waste of time and money.

FF7.

FFX was the most entrancing game in my mind. I played that game for like 3 weeks straight the second i got it. But my favorite would probably have to be, final Fantasies 6-9

being an avid fan of the entire series. 3/8/10 were fun as hell, But 7 and 9 were my favoites. & being better in my fan-boy-esque opinion.

I've only played 7 and 8.
Between those two, 7. But I played 8 "wrong" (which, imho, means bad game design).

Best Final Fantasy game ever is absolutely the number VIII.
Amazing story, amazing characters, great gameplay, and an amazing graphic (at launch, but videos are still good today). MASTERPIECE imho.

I've played 1 - 10 and 12.
V and IX are the only ones I really liked.

final fantasy tactis advance was my favourite final fantasy it's one of the games i've played most and then i think ff 12 maybe cause has many similarity with the character of tactics.

I is decent.
II is a horrible abomination.
III is the best FF installment on NES. I bought DS for the remake (and Dawn of Souls).
IV is decent.
V is pretty good. It's the first FF I played, so nostalgia might play a role in that.
VI rocks.
VII is overrated as hell, but it's still alright.
VIII is my personal favorite, even though plot doesn't make much sense when I look back. I'm kind of afraid of playing it again, because it might not live up to my memories. I did like the junction system, which I know was pretty unpopular.
IX was good.
X is still sitting in my backlog; I only got it this year and ran it only once to check if my PC can handle the emulator. I'll probably get to it once I finish Phantasy Star games on Steam.
Tactics rocks.
Tactics Advance disappoints, but it's not as bad as most fans of the original Tactics say.
Mystic Quest was not good.

FF6, and Tactics

Really liked Final Fantasy Tactics. 4 and 6 follow closely.

VII is the best for me. Next will be IX and then X.

III(First Place), VII(Second Place) and VIII(Third Place)

Mystic Quest no contest, best SNES game ever.

Huge fan of 7 and 10 here. Final Fantasy X is still a gorgeous game, even by today's standards.

I've not actually finished 6, but it was pretty fun from what I remember. I really enjoyed the job system in 5 though. VII was my first PSX rpg, so it will always have a special place in my heart and brought me back to jrpgs after not playing them for a long time. I think we can all agree that 8 is garbage. X was very well written but far to linear for my tastes, and X-2 was great for me for bringing back a version of the job system from 5, but horrible in every other respect. I'm going to have to go with the original as my favorite though. Lots of places to go and just an amazing use of the technology at the time!
