The Secret World, the first and only one. It's really different from the others MMO, in the modern-day real world. If you're a fan of Chtulhu and Lovecraft, it's just made for you. There's no restriction in classes or levels, you can deblock everything with a single character. And you don't have to pay every month :)

Shadowbane was my firse MMO.
I've always liked Guild Wars (and GW2) more than WoW though. That's me though.

Knight Online I guess, but I have played just for a little while, never was too much of a MMO person. Might have spent like 100 hours with Lineage 2 and same with WoW, though maybe less, I made it as far as 50 lvl in both before I got tired of it.

My favourite MMO is prius online. Unfortunately it is discontinued now. But kind of started a new life as Arcane Saga online. But in the few minutes I played Arcane saga it lost it's attraction for me. Shame cause prius is basically the only mmorpg i actually liked.
First mmo would have been runescape. Thought it was boring as hell. I somehow managed to reach lv 30 in the hope that it would become more fun later on. I played a lot of flyff but didn't particularly like it. I then tried a few others for a few hours each, none of them sticked besides prius. Guild Wars 2 looked cool but not enough.

My first was probably Maplestory. It was a fun game when playing with friends/cousins, but it quickly got boring when playing alone. I would quit then pick it up months later and keep repeating that cycle for a while.
My favorite MMO would be Dungeon Fighter Online. I was sad to see it shutdown.

My first MMORPG was Metin 2, I don't know why it was called Metin 2 since there wasn't Metin 1 as I know, the thing is everyone started playing it on my school when I was like 14 years old, so I started playing too, it was fun with friends, a Korean style game, there were rocks that fell from the sky called metin's, if you break them(it takes a while, depending on the rock level too) it spawns enemies that you need to kill, aftrer breaking it it dropped some good stuff and small rocks used to give weapons and armors bonuses, the game was not only about this, it was about going to dungeons, leveling up, killing bosses, getting different kind of horse(normal, upgraded and military), fighting against other kingdom guys, etc. I enjoyed it but I can say it's not my fav game, graphics are just very bad even compared to WoW, I think my fav MMO is WoW, but I'm glad I stopped playing WoW, now I don't play any MMOs, and it's good.
Game still exists, check it out here: http://us.metin2.gameforge.com/

World of Warcraft was the first and my favorite. I've started playing right after I've discovered the amazing story of Warcraft III + Frozen Throne.
Never played on official servers, but this game brought a lot of fun with my friends. (Also, it has improved my English level more than my school) I've spent ~7years on it. Btw, I never played out of control.

FlyFF was a HUGE chunk of my years as a little child. I played it from about years 9 to 13, it was the most fun I ever had on an MMO. Now when I go back I see how empty the game has gotten, it used to be more popular with a lot more players.

First was... Runescape close to when it first came out (hey, it was a big thing years ago!). Played a female avatar. Immediately had two dudes ask to be her boyfriend. lol One of them gave me some ridiculously powerful sword. Was an overall alright experience for a first MMO back in the day. No idea what it's like now.
Second was Maplestory (also big at the time, okay? >_>). Played a female avatar again. Immediately had a guy say he wanted to rape her. Quit the game. Didn't want to play with a crap community.
Nowadays I like Spiral Knights, Marvel Heroes and both Everquest F2Ps. They're all pretty fun for free accounts and allow you to do quite a lot without paying, and the communities have been very friendly as far as F2Ps go.

So what's your first and/or favorite MMO that you have played.
Mine was Lineage 2: TC 1,5 and I absolutely loved it (though I played at private server), I even have boxed copy of the game :)
Lost ~3 years of life on it, then Kamael happened and after 2 or so major patches I thought that the game lost it's charm.
Later I tried to get hooked up on WoW and other MMO's but it was not the same experience.
With all that said Lineage 2 was my first and still a favorite MMO game, I even think of trying it again but I'm not sure how it would feel after so long + I still need to finish studies, so I can't be a hardcore no-life x)
