This pretty much helped me understand your thinking: and I don't like it too much.
Do you really believe I wouldn't get a FUCKING job, if I could?
But the truth is that wanting to get a job isn't enough in this fucking country I'm forced to live in.
Also, "pedo weeb games"? Open your eyes, you're clearly seeing things where there aren't.
The "weeb" part is the only true one, but actually, weeb games make up a small portion of my library.

I often enter ones that are 1 point, or with very low entries just to have a higher chance of winning. As long as the game has cards of course :p

The more you level up the less people will enter the giveaways you enter. Just have to keep giving away games.
And like madsession said, invite and groups are where people usually get their wins. With invite giveaways, only forum lurkers see the giveaway and with groups, only a limited amount of people can enter that giveaway, thus giving you a better chance :)

Premium jokes are just for users that complain after 2 weeks and 300 entries with no GAs done by themself :)

guess what? some people add you to their blacklist for this thread. don't care about that. I just won 2 GAs. U can see the reason. group + whitelist! hidden GAs R also good.

Depends what you mean by a huge number, I've won 153 games but never won a public giveaway, all my wins are from a private ratio based giveaway group I'm in.
Comment has been collapsed.
I started out really active in bundle quest at the beginning, won around 100 game from it. By my today's starndard I wouldn't join the majority of it. At this time, After a while it becomes so obvious that quality > quantity - I don't join for giveaways with let's say 60% chance of I will enjoy, because I already have a similar game that I like way more (Like with simpler puzzles, platformers, shoot 'em ups.)

That's against the site rules. All you'll get for posting it is a pile of new blacklists.

Nah. Zelghadis's touch pulls your wins from you and gives them to him.

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Weeaboo
The 4.2 definition is the most accurate to our case.
Comment has been collapsed.
Usually it's an insult when used by someone who isn't a weeb, but usually when used by a fellow weeb it becomes an inside greeting; it is often preceded by an honorific like "Disgusting", "Trash", or "Basement-dwelling". (I almost killed a friend IRL when I called another friend a "Disgusting Weeb" while we were eating and he almost died laughing. Oops.)

Actually, the term refers to a non-Japanese person who is obsessed with Japanese culture (ie, not just exclusively anime) in an unhealthy manner. It's very similar to other similar pejoratives such as 'whigger', (a white person that attempts to imitate American-Black culture).
The term is most commonly associated with otaku (synonomous with geek, but with more of an implication of social maladjustment and anime or technical emphasis [more in line with older usages of geek, before geek became cool :P] ) behaviors, but isn't exclusive to them.
It's an insult because, primarily, people get really weird about cultural identity even when it's clearly absurd to do so. But past that, it's a slur indicating.. well, the rather nasty comments a certain someone left above fit right in. The implication leans toward Hikikomori/NEET behaviors: Someone that locks themselves away to engage in geeky behaviors at the expense of social effort. Weeaboo also has picked up the implications listed above, of being "creepy" in emphasis, with remarkably archaic mindsets of trying to paint anyone with a specific interest [in this case, anime] as being perverted.
It's worth noting, nearly all of those with the mindset aren't actually opposed to specific, more dubious anime representations of youth and romance, but view the entire Japanese manga artstyle as being pedophilic (since it relies on expressive, softly designed characters, versus the rough-edged, hyper-masculine/feminine designs of western comic artwork)
In other words, at its heart, the term is used by individuals that hate anime and its related culture, and view it as being improper and disgusting- with all the blind hostility and lack of attempting to gain actual knowledge of the topic that is common to those that hate minorities. In fact, I've exclusively seen the term used by those who are bigoted in other ways (and as I noted above, it seems to be very open-ended in its disdain of Japanese artstyles), so seems to be Japanese Culture itself which is disdainful to those using the term.
I've never seen it used as a positive in-reference ala 'nigger' (as detailed below), however; in my experiences, it's solely as negative as it has been presented in this current situation.

If anyone called me that, I'd just be confused, and be like "Okay... so...?"
Just reading the description makes me wonder exactly why it's insulting. People have their obsessions.
I don't know.
Even then, I've seen it used against people who are very much NOT otaku.
Comment has been collapsed.
Interests and obsessions are not the same thing.
I watch some anime but I'm not involved in the medium or the fandoms so I guess I wouldn't really classify myself as a weeb.
Although, I am a bit obsessed with Berserk and One piece stuff (I've watched theory videos and things like that), so I might be a bit of a weeb (when I say it, it's as a joke, like how Zed said).

Well, unlike what Avantyr is stating (and as I noted above), I haven't ever seen it used as a self-identifier before [though of course, things like that are often re-appropriated, so I'm not doubting its usage, just making comment that it isn't a core element of the term].
In line with what you just mentioned, it's like any other commonly used pejorative [eg, Social Justice Warrior, faggot, retard]. Technically it has a distinct meaning that could be used to be quite offensive and/or demeaning to a subset of people, but typically most people throw them out as generic insults without any meaning other than that they're trying to be spiteful and mean and intolerant, and that they don't care who they hurt.
In sum (as with basically any pejorative) it's a term both completely absurd in its initial basis and then moreso in its lack of utilization toward that basis, which is solely* used by individuals that either are deeply dissatisfied with their lives and want to take it out on others, outright enjoy hurting others, or otherwise feel a need to lash out blindly without even putting enough effort or creativity in to find a more rational form of verbal attack [See: this paragraph].
(*And also by people who are simply thoughtless in their actions and inattentive to the feelings of others, but I've personally started to stop giving doubt in that regard, given how most individuals, when confronted with their casual use of minority slurs, will rage against you rather than pay your considerations any respect.)
tl;dr:
Don't try and find logic in it, because as with all too many regrettable human behaviors, logic isn't a core factor in the process.
(Then again, in fairness, there's a certain rationality to it: If you can hurt others with putting in minimal effort, why bother putting in more? Basically, the logical premise here is that the individuals are too lazy to be more logical in their unwarranted spitefulness.)

'The secret' could be taking part in the forum giveaways (especially ones where you need to solve somekind of puzzle), being member of smaller groups and being a higher level. All these things just give a better possibility to win since there are less participants than in the lower level public giveaways.

I'm guessing by your 81 comments in 2 years that you don't spend much time in the forums.
Try joining forum giveaways which have less entries => higher odds of winning.
Also luck and entering more than 1000 giveaways helps.

You have only entered 496 giveaways in almost 3 years. That's your problem.
Yes, it takes a lot of work. I check for new giveaways probably every hour, sometimes more often. I've been here for a little over 2 years and have over 31,000 entries. Invite only giveaways in the forums will also increase your odds, but if you can't find the time to enter in the main public giveaways, I don't see how you are going to find time to read through the forums.

Both. Also, I think suffixing a word that ends in a consonant with a vowel is stupid, we're speaking English, not Japanese.
Comment has been collapsed.
By "vowel", I meant "o" and "u", for example: "Bump" becomes "Bumpo". Also, using Japanese honorifics like chan and kun, like they're really necessary.

Do they use scripts/bots or some other trick? Or do they just stay on this site all day, every day, clicking 'enter giveaway'?
