How do people get huge numbers of games won?

According to my won giveaways, here are the main reasons:

1. Whitelists
2. Groups
3. Private (these ones are only exceptions when the creator invites me by sending the giveaway link through a chat)

I don't enter public giveaways and rarely private giveaways unless the odds are very good. Call me lazy, but I just don't see how entering giveaways with 2,000 entries make sense, so I just don't. :P

Mhh... patience and luck I guess.
I doubt there's a "formula" to win more.

They are randomly chosen more often.

Most of the time, it's probably from Whitelisted/group giveaways, or forum givaways. Or even high level giveaways, since there's far less people a higher levels.

Goats. I sacrifice goats. It's the traditional solution, and it's worked... eh, alright. It's been okay. I suppose I could have just bought games instead of goats, but... you know... tradition.

Do they use scripts/bots or some other trick?

scripts = yes.. a lot of users use non-bot scripts
botscripts = yes. a few users use bots for non-entry purposes
as far as people winning with botscripts auto-entering though. there are botters of that type, but i doubt they win very much tbh. most are likely lvl0-1 and do not have good odds.

Or do they just stay on this site all day, every day, clicking 'enter giveaway'?

yes = some will spend a lot of time here, or even more importantly inside the discussions where most private giveaways are revealed.
no = some dont have to be online much at all to win a ton if they are in a small group that frequently giveaway to each other.

so breakdown as many have said... private gibs in discussion, group gibs, and higher lvl public gibs with lower entrances (lvl3-4+ typically)..

They join lots of giveaway trading group where they basically give as much as they win to inflate their cv.
