I like how you're ignorant of what OP is even saying.

Liberate to accumulate.
Some good apps around to unlock functionality and tweak thing Apple tried to lock away or hobble.

Might as well just to screw around with it. But if the argument for jailbreaking is free apps, I don't see the difference between that and pirating games.

Becomes a lot more open. Can literally do anything.

iPhones can not be completely bricked because you can just restore them in iTunes.

It only technically voids the warranty but there isn't a way to prove it since the phone can be restored to factory settings and thus removing all traces of jailbreak.

Yes, you should. iPhone sucks otherwise. I know that because I own one.

First ask your self why do you need it for, and what will you play, use on it. If you don't spend more then a few minutes every day on programs or games on it then there is no point in all the extra hassle that jailbraking brings.
I have had a ipod for 4 years and an Ipad for 2 years and never had any reason to jailbrake them because I just don't have any need for the extra apps and stuff it gets you.

Following simple instructions and clicking next is so hard.
By jailbreaking you get access to tweaks and other things that really should be in the iOS by default. Many of the features in the iOS today were available to jailbroken phones long before they were officially added to the OS.

If you've been using it for a year and you haven't even had the thought "why is this so hard to do/what can I do to make this better" for ANY of the functions then that probably says you're already fine with what Apple is offering you. But then, if you'd like to open up your iPhone for a lot more and would actually like to spend time checking out what your phone can actually do, go ahead.
First time I used an iOS device I already had those thoughts and looked into jailbreaking immediately. Can't use another non-jailbroken iOS device anymore.

It's been one year since I started using my IPhone, and now warranty has expired, so should I jailbreak or not? What are the advantages and disadvantages of having an jail broken IPhone?
