Welp, I'm at that point when one day I'm lvl 4 and the next one I'm back to lvl 3 (Thx AGGPRO <.<) so it's about time I make another GA train to at least stay in lvl 4. This time it comes in the form of a NES Puzzle. Just guess the games and you'll get a ticket to the train.

Remember that leaking answers and avoiding SGTools' check will get you rerolled and you'll earn a special spot in my blacklist.

Without further ado, here's the link. If you're not sure about the spelling of the name of the game check GameFAQs

PS: I added a little hint in the last one because the screenshot can be a bit misleading (it was either that or picking something that gave the answer away).

PS2: I forgot to mention it ends on May 27th at 15:30 (GMT)

Well, the minimum level for the GAs is 1, so you could join them perfectly =)

I had to look up a list of NES football games. The first one I was aware of (though not the spelling), but the second one I had never heard of before.

That one was my first football game, though I have to admit that there were more variety of football games back then. Nowadays it's either FIFA or PES/Winning Eleven

I'm surprised there was a market for so many of them though, considering how much smaller the game market was, and how expensive they were (even if you don't account for inflation, NES games were more expensive than modern console games, and modern console games still feel expensive).

To be honest I don't remember the prices of the games at all since I was a little kid when I had it

I was also a kid back then. Heck, the NES pre-dates me. But I grew up (by local standards) poor, so getting a game was a really big deal for me. But they were like 500-700 SEK each when new, and it was a big deal when a local store had "buy 2 games for 300 SEK". Did not buy those, but a friend did. Turned out that the only games that even looked remotely good in that lot was Wrath of Black Manta & Journey to Silius, of which only the later was actually good)

With current exchange rates, just consider 10 SEK to be 1€.

Wow, that's a lot of money. I think the games costed around 15€ to me back then.

That was the cost of used games that were not very sought after. You could get some used games, mainly those that sold well but were not considered to be very good, for as low as 75 SEK, but most were 150 SEK+, often closer to 250 SEK (without box or manual).

That could explain why they weren't expensive. They never came with a box and a manual, just the game itself.

I sort of want to take part in this, as I grew up on nes, but I don't know a thing about SGTools.

You simply have to log in SGTools, and once you do you'll click on "check requirements" to let it check if you meet some easy-to-pass requirements. Once you do you click on "get giveaway link" and then you'll get the link to the puzzle.
