I'm not a neckbeard, so I'll stick with Windows.
Seriously though, I used to think Linux was the definitive "power user" operating system. Well, after working in IT for about five years and never encountering a Linux server or workstation, I've come to the realization that Linux is used by 12-year-old wanna-be script kiddies and >40 year old momma's boys.
Give me a command prompt from any *nix system and I'll do whatever you want me to without a hitch, but that's just because I was forcibly trained on the systems in college. In the real world, it's not as widespread as everybody wants you to believe. Everybody was in a hype because Google was ridding their employees of Windows machines and going Linux, but now, they're back in Windows simply because it's easier and more stable. Linux is a mess.
You guys have fun.
