I started a Total War game a while back, but haven't gotten past the tutorial. Good reason to pick it back up, thank you for the suggestions!

I just picked up Loop Hero on Epic (it is for free there until the 10th of August if I recall correctly) and it is basically a tactical auto-battler in a sense. You determine the layout of the looping path the hero has to walk and you choose the equipment. And there is much more I am not going into, since I have to leave shortly.
But I can wholeheartedly recommend this game, I think it would be up your alley.

If you have been banned from Playing Appreciated for years now and you were stupid enough to break the rules when you were younger is there a slim chance of forgiveness? I truly did not realise what I had before I lost it, I realise that I should not have done so, regret it to this day.

let's see...

(only some achievement, but the game is ~4h) https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2263647361
there are also other games that have heavy grind after you finished its contents, but i believe you are not looking for that, right?
and as for the other categories, i believe all clicker, idler, and auto battler games fit for your needs.

Added them to the list, thanks! I apparently own Keyboard Killers (also Tap Heroes, but already 100%ed that) for some reason (must have been paid before at some point) so it goes on my personal list too

I am looking for anything I can just run in the background/spare PC when doing other stuff. Doesn't matter at what point of the game it is because I 100% everything so those work as well.
I looked at the clicker and idler tags for the games in my inventory before I made this post and half of the games where tagged incorrectly (the rest got added to my list). Will take a look if I have anything under auto battler, thank you for the tips and the suggestions!

also, i just remembered in digimon survive you can set the battle to auto and leave it run on its own (some battle can take quite long to finish), although note that it's mainly a visual novel so you still need to read the dialogues in between.

Thank you very much once again! I own 3 of those so they are now on my personal list as well :)

yakuza like a dragon has turn based battles so you can engage with them at your own pace, and there is an automatic fighting button that can be turned on and off at will. my one suggestion is to turn it to easy mode or else you will have to do some seriously monotonous grinding in the last few chapters of the game and lose lots of progress if you lose any battle during those grindy sections.

Ohhhhhhhh I completely forgot about it. It has been sitting in my beaten but not completed pile because of that since checks notes February 2015 :D Added to the list, thank you!

Maybe "Despot's Game: Dystopian Battle Simulator"
It's an auto battler

I cant comment on Logistical as I haven't played any of them, but I gotta completely disagree with you on Vampire Survivors and Bloons because I played them both while doing other stuff. For vampire survivors if you have a good build you can not move after already a few minutes and then you just need to pick your level up upgrades till you can turn the auto select on. The amount of times I have left the game alone for 20+ minutes and still been just fine when I was back is ridiculous. And for Bloons you just turn the slow speed on and do some upgrades every once in a while when you got enough money and it works really well.
They might not work for eveyone I guess (depending what the person wants to achieve) but they absolutely worked for me.

happyssimo cakeday again, The Mouse and The Beer!
i was kidding about Logistical... game plays pretty much the same way in all its versions, dlc's. you'll also have hard times understanding what opens what...
it's rough, doesn't look that good, it's grindy ah, there's plenty of versions and dlc's, ui is atrocious ...but you have to try it to see if it's your thing (this one has been a memorable experience for me, i still want to play it sometimes. but i also have bad, weird gaming tastes..)
if you really want, start with the one linked above. it's free to play and it's perfect to introduce you to or exclude you once for all :P

Thank you! :)
Ahhhhhhh, I never played any of the games so I thought it was a serious suggestion :( I shall remove it from the list then :D
Hmmmm not sure I am convinced I should start with them based on your description :D

Fallout Shelter https://store.steampowered.com/app/588430/Fallout_Shelter/
After building up your base a bit there's alot of times you just close the game and wait for timers after some managing of tasks.
Injustice 2 https://store.steampowered.com/app/627270/Injustice_2/
I let the AI loadout battle to gain levels. There is a ton of characters to level, you just have to press the A/X/Enter button/key to progress to next fight every now and then. The amount of time to level all characters is insane, still at it after 312 hours of mostly letting the AI fight.

Thank you for the suggestions, added to the list!
The Injustice 2 thing seems insane how long it takes o.o

Been a while since I last played it, should really get that last achievement ..if i recall correctly, angels give you bigger boost when playing, while demons when the game's not running.
Also, game can be synced across platforms (I played both on steam and Android)

And you should get that last achievement, would be a shame to get so far and not complete it :P

I get those 2 mixed up all the time :D Good luck then if you do! :) And yea, I hate it so much when that happens, I have a whole list of games like that...

Do idle games count? If so, Placid Plastic Duck Simulator (also has a few interactive achievements)
Comment has been collapsed.
They do! I do actually have a 100% on the in the base game and I am waiting for the DLC to go on sale to get the rest too. I dont think any of them are interactive tho? Unless the DLCs are different.
Will add it to the list, thank you!

There are a few. Some of them are hidden. For example, there is one for finding all the ninja duck's hiding spots, and another for launching a duck on the space-themed pool.

Ah yea, those are DLC which I haven't looked at yet. Thanks for the info!

This might sound a little bit silly, but I am looking for games that have a lot of downtime where you can just let the game do its own thing without your input for a little while. I got a lot of things that I gotta get done and not a whole lot of time, but I would still like to get some multi tasking backlog fighting done at the same time.
Other than the obvious clickers I am looking for things like:
I will not be buying any new games, just gonna play games I already own, but please suggest any games as who knows, maybe the suggestion helps someone else.
Obligatory giveaway [Level 2+]EndedThank you in advance for any suggestions <3
