From the Guidelines: (paragraph Giveaways)

Beta keys, guest passes, coupons, and free games should not be given away.

Please keep in mind that a free game means any game that has been available for free anywhere and does not refer only to games that are free on Steam directly.

If you want to give away games that you've aquired for free there are sites where you can do that for example the giveaway section on IndieGala.

Yea I know, their GA section really needs some improvements. At least 5 times I've tried to spend a few points when I was picking up some freebie anyway (because... well what do I got to lose) and everytime the GA on the front page I was trying to enter had already ended. I mean seriously... How hard can it be to program that finished GAs no longer show up ?

But I was trying to give OP some alternatives where he can give away games he aquired for free and still gain through it and I wasn't exactly sure anymore what SC stance on giving away free games is.

you can do the sensible thing
and just drop it in one the threads... you won't get CV
but the warm fuzzy feeling in your heart will remain and fester. until you won't be able to stop yourself from giving away more games ;)

You can also use keygiveaway.com, it's a site specialising in freebie key drops with a few anti-ninja and anti-bot measures.
