Steam started a special sale, but so far I miss it on the front page:
Summer of Pride 2020 sale

The url ("/developer/MidBoss/sale/summerofpride2020") suggests that this isn't a Steam thing, just a sale by one developer. Still interesting to look through though!

Looks like it's less of a Steam feature and more of a complement to Midboss's Summer of Pride streaming event.

Bumping with a giveaway of two copies of a queer game (according to Steam curators and its description):

Avoid looking stupid, don't ask "where's straight pride month" π
βWhen you hear of Gay Pride, remember, it was not born out of a need to celebrate being gay.
It evolved out of our need as human beings to break free of oppression and to exist without being criminalized, pathologized or persecuted.
Depending on a number of factors, particularly religion, freeing ourselves from gay-shame and coming to self-love and acceptance, can not only be an agonising journey, it can take years.
Tragically some don't make it.
Instead of wondering why there isn't a straight pride be grateful you have never needed one.
Celebrate with us.β

You're from the US, what kind of oppression you're talking about?
It would be nice to think that there is no oppression or persecution or abuse of LGBT people in the US, wouldn't it?
Sadly... that's pretty far from the truth.

What if I have my own beliefs
Okay...
traditional MxF relationship
How is that "your own beliefs"?

Kinda of hypocritical to accuse someone for wanting to celebrate his own sexuality while advocating for others to do the same thing tbh.

Reading comprehension is the ability to process text, understand its meaning, and to integrate with what the reader already knows. Fundamental skills required in efficient reading comprehension are knowing meaning of words, ability to understand meaning of a word from discourse context, ability to follow organization of passage and to identify antecedents and references in it, ability to draw inferences from a passage about its contents, ability to identify the main thought of a passage, ability to answer questions answered in a passage, ability to recognize the literary devices or propositional structures used in a passage and determine its tone, to understand the situational mood. Damn, another challenger appears? This is great.
Keep going, I want to see how many people will make fool of themselves.
Maybe you'll finally get it in a month if you, y'know, use your brains.

Why dont you use your big boy brain and explain whatever it is you want instead of acting like a child?

If you noticed, I did reply to the right person. Then when SkyFist asked if I was talking about him (even though I clearly wasn't, reply feature is pretty clear about who is replying to who and my sentence was clearly alluding to other person reply) I used a Wikipedia quote as a joke about how he didn't manage to connect the dots. I then also joked how that joke flew over his head by implying that he doesn't have proper skills in reading comprehension. And then you showed up. Guess I won't overestimate intelligence of others next time.

Im going to be honest. I didnt read everything they wrote and was sure you responded to the wrong person when he asked if it was adressed to him, and you just started throwing insults instead of answering.
Its nice of you to keep the insults coming instead of just answering the question direclty. But I guess in this case I have to kind of blame myself for not spending the time to read everything so I wouldnt misinterpret.

Thanks, it's good that we have everything settled now.

Hello everyone .
Its June, which is what many of you already know to be Pride Month. The title of the thread should have clued you in , that is if you know how to read.
ππππππ
For the uninformed and those who wish to learn more
ππππππ
June marks the beginning of a series of events that take place over the month ranging from MASSIVE PARADES to small informational kiosks. with people all around the world uniting in standing up for the LGBT+ community , no matter their nationality ,race ,age , or even sexuality. Well , due to Covid19 there has been some changes. Most events have been moved online , delayed , or out right cancelled.

Upcoming confirmed events.

i would like to think of this as a chance to be honest. some of you might be too scared of physically going to an event or you just dont have the means to do so. So checking out online events should be much easier and maybe even preferable to you.
