ok so first "rule" All players will start by the portal, when the countdown ends you all will do what you want, by the portal there will be signs like on images, and they will form route to chests, each chest contains something, can be crap, or can be a big heads up. After 2h all players will be teleported near each other and the kill fest begins (of course you can kill before that other players). The last man standing wins.

4: You can't take stuff from other "starter" chests, any player that will do so, will get kicked from the game.
5: After the countdown all hell brakes loose, you can kill other players, run as far as you want, feel free to do anything.

Also, do I need to purchase the Reign of Giants DLC? It's been long since I last played Don't Starve, so I don't remember the compatibility. Since I don't have the DLC, I'll try to purchase it if required!
EDIT: Also, considering that "2 weeks from now" is ambiguous, please specify an exact time frame (Date/day and time based on any time zone) since some of us have to go for work, and it might not be possible to attend the event if a clash of time periods-of sorts occurs ^^

Ok so this random thought just run into my head to make a PVP tournament of don't starve together. I can set up a dedicated server, think that 2 weeks from now will be a good date.
