Grats on getting married. Lucky guy.
In my personal experience, I have gotten to the point where I don't believe that this thing called "love" exists in my life. Never been married and I know I never will be, as much as I always thought it would be the ultimate life challenge I have been looking for.
Ah well. At least others are able to compete in that challenge.

Even I had the same thought as you but believe me, your soul mate does come in your life whether late or early. When it does happen, it would be the happiest thing in your life. For now, you need to change your perspective and stay positive :)

Anyone that tells you they are happy with their lives are full of crap. No one can be truly happy. There will always be some aspects they are unhappy with.
So, in essence, TRUE happiness can NEVER be obtained by humanity.

No doubt about that. But it must not let us become pessimistic about it. Good times and bad times will eventually pass and what really matters is to forget about bad times as soon as possible and cherish our good times forever!

I don't know, man. After my divorce, I reached a point where I said "that's it, I am going to be alone for the rest of my life." For many reasons, all of which were perfectly logical and reasonable.
And I had accepted that, and was pretty content with my life.
Then, back in August, I was visiting the home office of my company about 1500 miles from my home (I work from home but travel to the office a few times per year) and out of the blue, I ended up going out to dinner with one of my coworkers. I thought we were just hanging out but I felt a totally unexpected connection with her. We ended up talking at the restaurant for 4 hours, and then we started talking on the phone every day, and then she visited me in Texas, and then I visited her in Virginia...
Fast forward: she's moving here in 4 months and we both feel like we're each others' true love.
What I'm saying is, things can change pretty quickly. You may feel like you've reached this plateau and nothing is going to happen...but life may have other plans.

Sounds great, canis! I assume she will be working from home (yours) then, too. Are you working on the same tasks all the time? Or different things? I'm asking, because I ónce had a relationship with a coworker, too, and since we were even working in the same office I asked our team manager to transfer myself to another office to avoid annoying each other after a while.

She will be working from home as well, but about 2 months ago she actually went to work for another company (doing very similar work). So we're still able to understand each other when we discuss work, but we don't have to worry about being part of the same department or worrying about office politics.
There is still some question as to whether we can both work from home every day without annoying each other. Only time will tell. :)

Congratulations on your marriage. Never argue before going to bed and always tell your loved one that you love them before they leave. That's the advice my mother-in-law gave me before I got married. Also have a question. When I try to enter your train I'm not allowed as it states "Invite Only". How do I get invited? You are already on my whitelist.

You already know that 3D girls are more complicated. You will learn that---despite the drawbacks---they are also "better." Each one of you has flaws and shortcomings, but that is part of life. Learning to accept and/or deal with the flaws, along with respect and appreciation for the good qualities, is the foundation for a good, and happy marriage.

Hi everyone,
Last month has been a very important and happy stage of my life. Yes, I have gotten married (^_^). Even though all these years I have acted like a weeb and not interested in 3d girls, the reality is totally different. And I hope everyone gets to find their loved one soon if they haven't.
