Holly shit 400 games in a year... I will read 9 out of the ones you've highlighted in your latest post and applaud your new schedule, seems way better for living a healthier life. Anyway, I applaud your dedication and I thank you for the train, I joined one GA :]

I too have wanted for some time to write down my gaming experiences, as I love both games and talking about them, but never could bring myself to do it because I feel like I lack the appropriate vocabulary to tackle the problem.
I'm impressed by your beautifully written reviews. I bet it took a lot of dedication and self-discipline at times to do all of those.

So, I've gone back and forth on making this post because I fear it's going to be super self-serving, but I wanted to share with everyone a recent accomplishment of mine. Also, I have a LOT of keys to give away, so that evens out the guilt a bit.
I've been a frustrated writer for just about as long as I can remember, and I've found it extremely difficult to make any sort of mark on the frequently changing world of games coverage. 2016 was the year when I just said "fuck it" and started my own blog, with the goal of writing about video games every single day in 2016.
Well, I did it. Not all of it was great. I don't think it's possible to write that frequently and have all of it be quality. Some personal issues in the middle of the year also forced me to miss some days, but I always made them up in the end. As of 11:59 on December 31st, I had covered over 400 video games in either written or video form.
(In a related note, I don't recommend anyone else ever attempt to do this.)
So yeah. Just something I thought some people may find interesting. The most recent post has a list of what I consider the best pieces I wrote last year, so you don't have to trudge through an index. I do intend on continuing to put out stuff in 2017, albeit at a much more reasonable pace.
But for now, I need a nap. Have some games.
