Well personally I never really pay attention to stuff like this. They do not alter my preference of a game/movie/book no matter how many votes a certain one has.

We can see that many people just pick random choices to vote and get the free game. :D

How can dayz get so many rewards when it's not even officially released yet and still in early access. None of the games I voted for got rewards. Luckily the rewards really don't make a difference to me. I still love all the games I voted for no matter what anyone else thinks.

I'm not sure whether the titles are just overrated or too many commoners voted titles they know only for free XCOM they didn't even bother give a better look at the other nominees.

I could always appreciate the fact that he thanks people. Had, in some bizarre alternate universe, anyone else won they'd probably have an article bragging about how they're better than everyone else and all should bow down to them.

Since for most of the questions my thoughts were "Uuugh, why are all the nominees crap? <.<" I still think the Golder Joystick exists just to check who has the most hype.

It's a popularity contest. It means nothing as a consumer.

I was really hoping Child of Light would win something. It's just such an amazing game

I'm just glad Sarkeesian didn't win. Kojima absolutely deserves it, as well.
