If warcraft III warforged is a success maybe we will see warforged versions of 1 and 2,

i dont think blizzard will ever think that going mobile is a retarted move since its a corporation and the numbers that mobile games bring are troublesome for us old school gamers who want to game on our pcs. Even tho i dont like it i think gaming will go mobile in the future, many people seems to prefer it

That's good news. I enjoyed the original Diablo and running for my life the first time I opened the door to the Butcher's lair.
Also the fact that a save remembered the exact position you left off.
Oh, you saved instead of load one split-second before Diablo killed you?
With that said, fortunatelly I don't need GOG to run my original Diablo & Hellfire CDs, at least not on Windows 7.
All it took me was finding a *.bat file with a few lines in it and the game ran smooth and without any graphic issues :)

Ahaha, I did exactly that as well! Good old times :)
Anyway, I'll probably wait for the price to go down a bit before buying. Would be great to relive some of the best gaming moments of my childhood :)

Still have my disc around but will grab this just for the convenience to go along with the D"/LoD classic games on my blizzard account.

Great news. Am I right that this is first time blizzard allowed to sell their games in third-party store? And even drm-free! I'm really impressed. A bit expensive for me, but will get it sooner or later anyway.

Just saw a post mortem of Diablo (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VscdPA6sUkc) a few weeks ago and was rather disappointed that you couldn't get it digitally. Great news indeed and already grabbed it :)

It doesn't include the expansion "Hellfire", but I thought it was very shallow compared to the meat of the main game. But I do remember Hellfire's special boss being uber-powerful, unless you opened the door to his chambers in the "proper" order -- he'd then be weakened.
Neglecting this all-important "weakening" ritual would mean you have a 15-30 minute boss fight. No joke.

2 of the greatest games ever created by David and his former team.

I played Diablo just a few months ago (finally pulled out the CD that had been sitting around forever), and found it every bit as engaging as newer games. The gothic atmosphere, the terror -- yeah, that's still all in there. People who dislike "old" graphics in general (like in Stardew Valley or Undertale) probably wouldn't like this game. However, people who still enjoy games like Knights of the Old Republic, Deus Ex, and Baldur's Gate (the originals) are in for a nice treat!

Holy crap, did not expect that!

And we even get to choose wether we want to play original, or updated for modern os version.
"Travelers looking for the authentic Diablo experience can play the game as it was in 1996, with period-appropriate 20 FPS SVGA graphics, and the ability to matchmake through the classic version of Blizzard’s Battle.net® online-gaming service.
For those wanting something a bit more modern, Blizzard and GOG.COM have collaborated on an updated version of the game tuned for today’s gaming PCs, which includes out-of-the-box Windows 10 compatibility, a host of bug fixes and high-resolution support. "
edit.
Removed "drm-free" from title so ppl don't get their hopes up lol
