What a beautiful day

A bit pricey, but I believe a pack with all of them will appear on the winter sales.

No love for Angel of Darkness then?

Damn straight no love for it. It should remain off Steam as long as possible. What a sorry excuse for a TR game.

This is great news though, does anyone know if this will ever make an appearance on GOG?

Just to add to that - last time they were on sale, each pack was only $3.99. Kicking myself for not grabbing 4/5 then. ._.

Holy crap, nice. But as said, too pricy.
I have non steam TR Ultimate Edition, which includes everything up to date except GoL.
That's good enough for me.

I wonder if they updated TR1 somehow, my version runs with dosbox :-P

+1 Not only their DRM free but you also actually get to own your bought copies. Also you don't need active internet access to install them after you download from your GoG account. :D

I still own my original Tomb Raider cds that i bought years ago when they first came out. My copy Tomb Raider II was Tomb Raider II Gold. ^_^ . A Tomb Raider fan site called www.tombraiderchronicles.com has a patch for Tomb Raider 2-3-4-5 to play on Windows XP, Vista, and Win7 for the oringnal Tomb Raider CDs. I wonder if Steam's version is already prepatched. I believe Tomb Raider 1 needs something like dosbox to play on Win7-XP-Vista, When Tomb Raider 1 first came it was for Windows 95 and DOS, and i had lots of fun with Tomb Raider 1 when i first had Tomb Raider 1 back in the Win98 days. I still own my copy of Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness ( Windows Version ), and there no scracthes on my Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness CDs either, and no matter how my times i played Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness - the 2 disks are still rock solid. :D

Bit expensive - I know its cheaper on GOG but I'ld rather just have all my games in one place. Hopefully AOD will get added soon as well.

+1 Tomb Raider 2 was my most favorite Tomb Raider game back around 1998. I first played Tomb Raider I on Playstation ( also known as PS1, PSone, and PSX now ) way back in 1996 before having the pc version.

This so much. I was like... 5 when the first came out? And for some reason I was allowed to play it on my dad's old PC then. I don't think the thing even had 3D acceleration. <_>

The first is, and probably always will be, my favorite. As a kid I used to pretend I was off exploring ancient places that hadn't been seen in thousands of years, so the game was an instant hit with me. Plus the T-Rex scene. Oh god yes.

Little side note: It's because of Lara I always dual wield pistols in any game that gives me the option. :3

...Besides, TR1 had Natla. <3

10 euro's for a 16 year old game is far to much if you ask me though, no matter how good it is

The first part was the BEST imo. Not too much killing of other people, mostly animals - which I found good as a teen lol. The remake - Anniversary - was also fun.
It shows to me that the publisher of TR1 is Sidos.. Interesting.

Tomb Raider II is the best one imo. Maybe it's because of the time I played it, but I remember every single step I made in the game with great pleasure.

Never seen that before.

They did this a couple of times now, for X-Com, Company of Heroes 2 etc. Seems to be a new trend.

I can't say I looked at either of their store pages.

I don't like the idea of having to rely on other people to get bonuses though.

Still have all these on disk somewhere. I'm surprised it's 9.99 each when gog has 1+2+3 collected together for the same price.

Holy fuck I was running to post this here, but I'm late. Anyway, great news for old fans of the saga like me. Hope they put them on a pack on next sales, I'm eager to replay them!

Nah, there's a very, very low chance of that happening. But they'll probably put them all in a pack for a sale at some point. Maybe during the Christmas sale.
