"You can now semi-blind pre-order the five games in Indie Royale's April Fools Bundle at a recommended €/£/$10 or €/£/$5 USD contribution, and a minimum of $3.99 USD."

Seems the games have been leaked:

Defense Grid: Awakening

Explodemon

Hack, Slash, Loot

Alien Zombie Megadeath

Astro Tripper

From SPUF

"The next IndieRoyale games are:
Defense Grid: Awakening
Explodemon
Hack, Slash, Loot
Alien Zombie Megadeath
Astro Tripper

There's been a bug (I think), and the IR games are already in my Desura account. "

Interesting fact - I find out more about indie bundles and kickstarter actions here on the forums, than out there in the wild land of news and feeds.

Is the music actually that good? I haven't listened to any of it from past bundles...

It's mostly dubstep and techno in that genre (yes, sorry to fans, I only know my metals).

They're soft, but obviously not everyone is gonna like them.

This one is chiptune though, I recall that means it's done in that 8-bit style we had in 80s video games.

I'm hoping the "bug" that exposed the list of games turns out to be the April Fool's joke because all of them except Explodemon seem terrible.

Clearly, you've never played Defense Grid. That alone makes this more than worth it.

I've seen Defense Grid: The Awakening in a lot of giveaways here so I know people like it (it's also won a PC Gamer award but I stopped taking PC Gamer seriously years ago after they started giving good reviews to multi-platform games that utterly destroyed established PC gaming series) but I'm not a big strategy gamer so I wasn't really considering that game one way or the other when I made my statement. Aside from Myth: The Fallen Lords, Age of Empires, Jagged Alliance, Disciples, Tropico, Starcraft, and some other celebrated strategy games, I haven't looked into many newer ones, whether indie or mainstream.

Defense Grid does have a demo, so you could just check it out.
