I'll add another vote for Slime Rancher, Streets of Rogue and Subnautica, all really excellent games. And all beginning with "S", interestingly enough...

I'll add a few more of the games I've had most fun with over the last few years, representing a variety of genres (and starting initials);

Heat Signature Endlessly inventive, deeply original and enormously cool space heist roguelike. One of my "I will play this forever" games. Also ridiculously cheap right now at 75% off. Get this.

Islanders Kind of magical. A charming, atmospheric city builder which can be enjoyed on so many different levels. Can be enormously enjoyable just treated as a toy, crafting beautifully aesthetic little island cities - but at the same time, you can apply a robust, deeply satisfying strategic approach if you treat it like a logistical efficiency puzzle. The really special thing is that whichever way you choose to play it, it feels incredibly chilled and relaxing. Currently 50% off the already cheap base price.

Snakebird One of my favourite puzzle games, cute, accessible, and based on just a handful of simple and intuitive gameplay elements, it elegantly builds to a really challenging and hugely satisfying level of difficulty. Another game that is always cheap, and is currently 50% off.

Yoku's Island Express Cute, magnificently crafted pinball metroidvania with lots of clever, fun touches. Currently at the lowest recorded price with 80% off, or possibly even more if you get it in a bundle deal.

A Hat In Time Probably the best 3D platformer on PC. SO MUCH FUN. Currently at historical low price of 50% off the base game or 65% off the ultimate edition including the 2 DLC and 2 soundtrack versions.

Astroneer Space-based, open world, survival, crafting and exploration, so much to do, you can just get into the vibe and sink hours and hours into this. Only 35% off, but well worth it if this is your thing.

Super Meat Boy A classic missing from you collection, one of the few games that for me is literally perfect - an exceptional precision platformer with tonnes of replay value. Disappointingly not on sale right now, and has previously had huge discounts, so I'd recommend keeping an eye on it and waiting to grab a bargain...

bump and thanks

I recommend Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy be a lawyer in a visual novel, wished the discount was bigger than just 11% for both base game + music DLC.

Well, I started playing Evoland Legendary Edition over the weekend and I confess I'm delighted with the game. So this is my suggestion. :)

And maybe you can try to finish games that you've already started but left out for some reason. From time to time I do this and find that I neglected great games.

BUMP! Didn't buy anything, but did participate in the getting the cards & the interactive-text-adventure thing. Most of the games I want were still at a higher price or not playable on my system. Plus right now don't have much time to play games. Cool you got some games tho. Since you mentioned Forza series, I'm not a racing game fan but the new upcoming Forza Horizon 5 looks fun!

Bumperino, I only purchased Pathfinder: Kingmaker and it turned out to be a worthwhile game to play despite some of its issues.

I've got mixed feelings about this sale. On one hand, I've treated myself to an insane number of VR and non-VR adventure games (and a bit of other genres as well, of course). Basically, I'm set for a very long time. And I've bought almost everything I'd been planning to buy. On the other hand, a broke person shouldn't spend such an amount of money of something so nonessential - and I'm not even talking about the current size of my backlog. Still, there's some really nasty shit happening in my life right now, and games have always been something to help me remain sane, so maybe they are not that nonessential after all.

Not to spam, but my list https://www.steamgifts.com/go/comment/WyGmvq8 (And even went to get YS 9, The Crew 2, Parkasaurus, The Corruption Within and The Prophecy too and a few more GOG Games)...

But i totally feel you you, there is regret about the money that i don't have an abundance of either, but i compare it to with women how they go shopping for clothes to make them feel better sometime, maybe some of us do it with games.
They are are essential if it keeps your mind of things even for a little while. ;)

I always try not to spend any realy money on sales which has worked for me this sale too I usually just trade in TF2, CS:GO which I quitted now, sometimes even Rocket League or I just stick with steam trading cards or games i highly recommend it and I feel you aswell.

I managed to get a bunch of DLC I needed as well as 8 games I wanted to check out, so i'm pretty content. I intended to spend about $25 but there were more games on my WL that had 80% discount than last year so I ended up spending more.
How did you like the sale?

It was pretty good for me I picked up a good amount of games and traded for some I wanted for a long time overally haven't had such a good sale before maybe last years summer sale was better but thats just because crafting sets was insanely profitable :D

One of the best seasonal sales in regards to the event itself. Enjoyed going through the choose-your-own-adventure stories.
