what the ...... I show 2 not activated wins. I use SGTools all the time and my account is clean. But not now. This sucks. Am I now locked out out all SGTool GAs? I just tried a couple that have basic rules and it let me in. Or is there a delay before it detects this and tomorrow I will find myself locked out though no fault of mine.
Where are you guys seeing how many have been removed from your account. That filter shows zero for me but I'm showing 2 not activated wins and I do have that log turned on within ITAD.. Or is it again just a mater of time till it checks my account ans see this and reports it.

Can't view the achievement pages on them either. I don't understand why Valve does half the things they do.

Nope.
According to Steam:
"Removed products will not be automatically uninstalled nor will achievements and playtime be removed from your profile."

A game doesn't effect your average until you earn an achievement, once you have earned an achievement it will permenantly effect your average even if you remove the game and/or achievement.

OK, is it possible this is an error on Valve's end? Because the only game that SGTools thinks I haven't activated is a game called Pressure, which was removed from the Steam store but not because Valve cut ties with the developer - it's because their new game, Pressure Overdrive, replaced the old game, which they didn't want to sell any more. (And they didn't upgrade us. Hmph.)
Pressure Overdrive is in the store and the dev is an active one. But Pressure is not detected by SGTools as activated.

This is called theft. Per digital, consumer and mercantile laws this is illegal. That's like going to your house and forcibly taking back the games no longer being edited without telling you. Steam as the platform you get the licence of use to access a game you bought through their server has the responsibility of providing with with access to what you paid for.

BLAEO sync informs me that 10 games are 'missing' from my library.
Would've been more, but I already cleared out the Digital Homicide mess during spring.

First they add the mobile authenticator and the 7 days ban in market, later they screw the gifting policy and now that.
3 actions, looks like we will have Half Life 3 very soon.

Does Portal 2 the last game valve did ? If yes, that's 5 years ago wow

A class action for what? It sounds like people can still access those games that were "removed." It's just that others can't tell when you're playing or that you own it.

Yeah, there is even a Warhammer game in there (and Doctor Who!)! So its not just "banned" games, yeah most of them are but there is more of an explanation for it! :P

Doctor Who was pretty bad (not as bad as DH like you said) even for a big DW fan like me, BUT - there was something good about it. Generally there were 5 episodes which originally were 5 games that got put together just for Steam release, first four were all shitty cheaply made games and were very very bad, but ep5 was totally a different game - much bigger, longer (it lkasted like 2-3 times more than episodes 1-4 combined), with actual gameplay mechanics, intresting storyline, some secrets to find etc, and ep 5 I did enjoy. Not great game, but not bad either ;) So if you can undelete it maybe do so and give a try just to episode 5 - imho this one alone was worth keeping the game.

I own it on PS3 and Steam. It is nothing great compared to the Marvel action RPGs on consoles, but it was still worth owning. Lucky the Steam price dropped to US$3 some time last year, I got it for my library. Wouldn't ever get the DLCs on PSN though, they were much more there.

It pretty much was a brawler. It just had teams and minor elements for leveling, so you could do custom skill set ups.

Xmen Legends was indeed awesome. Still have my gamcube copy :P.
YJ was on a watch list since Tiny Orbit has a habit of having their games being nuked. If you don't mind paying a shit ton, you can find a copy on the usual trade sites. Or you can buy a console version for $10. :p

I see it more like they cba to implement sensible solutions that doesnt hit majority of customers that don't have any issues. Just to fix something that minority have problem with.
I don't relate to this specifically, don't see whats the point of removing those games from api in the first place. They can't legally remove them from libraries anyway?
Comment has been collapsed.
It seems that the missing ones are the ones that were pulled by Valve, but the ones pulled by the devs/publishers are still listed. An example for both of them: Alan Wake was removed by the devs when the license expired, and is still listed, but the Doctor Who games (which were removed by Valve on request of the BBC) are no longer listed. This seems to be the common factor for all non-counting games, although I'm not 100% sure.

Just a moment ago, games that are "banned" or whatever because Valve cuts tie with developers are no longer detected by Steam API. A prime example is that (almost) all Digital Homicide games are no longer detected as owned.
This is not a per-app change, but rather a system-wide change, so if you own some games made by other developers that are "banned" then Steam API will also no longer detect them. Not sure if this is intentional and why Valve would do this, but surely this will change a lot of things.
What this could mean in SG:
I don't have a complete list of what games are affected, since there are too many. This means if SGTools wants to update their whitelist it can be a non-trivial process.
Also, your profile's game count may have changed, depending on how many such games you have in your account.
For example, I own Barbie and Her Sisters Puppy Rescue (appid: 396390, you won't be able to see that I own this game unless I am on your friends list on Steam and you go to the Friends that Play page of this game), and if you check with Steam API you won't be able to find 396390 as my owned appid.
