Joy to the World, Yogscast's bundle is come!
Great game. Been playing it since launch. You won't find a better value for a MMO.

I got the bundle but I'm not going to use the key for GW2, I'll give you my key if you want. Just make sure you can activate it from where you are it seems like there's some place where it cannot be activated from.
Anyway I don't want to just dump the key here because of ninjas so if you're still interested, just add me on Steam and I'll sent it to you over chat.

According to https://www.reddit.com/r/humblebundles/comments/a32pgo/yogscast_jingle_jam_day_4_unlocks_freaky_awesome/
They added 25k card life keys, seems to be slowly rolling out. I haven't gotten mine yet, but some people have. First 35k people get a key.
Comment has been collapsed.
Thanks! I wanted to try the key, to double check that it's already a dupe (knowing that it often happens that people take a key and don't say), but I got to activate it.
Good thing that I didn't (and I'm not planning to) buy the bundle.
Wow, thanks again!

Try to activate Guild Wars: Nightfall and get this message : The serial code given was not recognized by our system. Please try again

ha ha ha, i think me fucked up :D Thx I will try that now ;)
Comment has been collapsed.
Yeah silly me just assumed I could redeem on ArenaNet.
As they say, assumption is the mother of all fuck ups
And thx for your lightning fast help, quicker than Humble and ArenaNet :D
Comment has been collapsed.
That's unlucky. Did you buy it on Humble? Could try requesting a refund?
EDIT: Ignore me. I understand what you're saying now. You bought the bundle, after CardLife was sold out. Not CardLife itself :D
EDIT 2: They added more keys for CardLife so that's why one appeared on your account :)
Comment has been collapsed.
They added 25000 more keys yesterday, and those were allocated based on the purchase order. That means that the first ~35.000 people who bought the bundle have it now (as opposed to the first ~10.000, at it was meant initially). New buyers still don't receive a key.
Comment has been collapsed.
I don't know if that make's it better or worse, better for those that bought it while it still showed as in stock and thus got jipped but frustrating for those like me that caught news of the bundle just after card life was out of stock and decided not to buy it. I know they may have had to negotiate for more keys and thus may not have known if they would get more but damn...

The humble site was throwing me a 403 forbidden error until it was somewhere around 35k so I didn't shoehorned in unfortunately but then I missed out on some of the limited keys items the last time too, and with the freedom bundle, and with the... huh I guess I'm not an early enough adopter.

i redeemed CARDLIFE !!!!
they must have restocked...get them while they last ...

lol...im faster than their emails...:
Good News! We were able to obtain more keys for the limited availability game CardLife: Cardboard Survival. Your qualifying purchase now has the key on the Yogscast Jingle Jam 2018 download page.

@"Asshat" You do realize devs give copies of their games for free, right?
Comment has been collapsed.
Of course, because games spontaneously appear out of nowhere. There's no time and money investment whatsoever. rolls eyes
Besides, there's way more effective publicity methods, they are genuinely donating potential sales to charity, and as far as I can tell, were the reason a lot of people bothered with the bundle. Arguing it's not really charity because they benefit from the publicity is far from fair, and it's what makes this bundles suck more and more over the years.
But you know, you lot can also go back to sound like entitled stereotypical millennials and say with a straight face that some random game out there should be free for no reason AND that its devs being forced to extend their generosity further so a bunch of ungrateful kids get what their want isn't something to be worried about.
Comment has been collapsed.
Not arguing with your comment or assessment, just wondering why exactly you said this would make the bundle suck more each year? This moreso because devs see this type of reaction and wouldn't want to get involved in facing backlash like Cardlife is getting? or dealing with a no-win situation like that?
Comment has been collapsed.
A pint of both, really. If I were a dev you can bet your ass this option is completely out of the question.
Comment has been collapsed.
People just told him it was scummy, he did this to make it better. Could have just kept on the 9K copies and eat the bad press, the PR movie horrible backfiring.
I don't think if something's bad press it's bad for people to say it as such, it's all on the dev how to handle it. I doubt he's been forced or bullied to give more copies, just told trying to profit of "charity" with a drop in the bucket for all the press with none of the costs was kind of unfair compared to the other entries or just seemed inproper in general.
I don't recall a single regular humble bundle ever doing a restriction on copies. Then again the slider by default gives devs a fairly large slice of the income. You can bet if someone wanted in on that pie and only supplied 9K keys people will think poorly of those people too.
EDIT: Giveaways or bundling generally is done to promote something. A new game, the game itself, the developer, create an user-base etc. It's all marketing, so it's hardly purely from the pureness of devs, it's a proft-income calculation in pretty much all cases.
Comment has been collapsed.
Again, really unfair to dismiss any generosity because all the PR nonsense narrative you want so desperately to force. News flash: All Humble Bundle game copies come from a huge limited pool. The surplus literally goes to waste and devs absorb the loss, typically quietly and dynamically adding more copies to the pool at their own discretion. You are witnessing that discretion being exercised.
Small dev wants to help but has a comparatively smaller margin, so Humble Bundle clearly stated from the beginning the limit of copies.
With your shitty logic, no charity is actual charity, since every single one of them at the very least provides the participants with a warm feeling of doing a good deed (polar oposite to remorse after pulling a trigger). Nobody does ANYTHING if it's only going to hurt them. Some semblance of benefit must always be there for a person to take action. Your vision on charity and good will is sickeningly twisted and you are a cynical prick.
(And here I was thinking furries tended to be nice people because all the shit they've been through)
Comment has been collapsed.
Hey, we were already having the convo up there, why skip over to this branch?
No it's not. Again; he wants to trail on "CHARITY" meanwhile not actually delivering to charity like all the other devs do. Have cake and eat it too. We call it out, apparently that makes US terrible people? Yeah, not buying that.
Maybe if devs want the charity bux they should go the full 12 miles on it, as in actually supply the 150k (or 200k this year) copies, like all the others?
Here's how Humble works (and other bundle sites): They provide a ton of keys, they get sold, they return unsold copies. Heck, Indiegala LITERALLY says so in their e-mails so it's not like bundlesites are hiding this.
Also, welcome to business. They really don't do nothing for free just cause they like you. Actual charity from developers is far and few between. Heck, Warner Brothers TRIED TO MAKE MONEY OF SOMEONE DYING OF CANCER. And I'm the cynic?
Seeing many people here reject from buying due to this mess he's not doing the charity itself any favors.

Unless it activates as a different package than advertised, I believe that the SwitchBlade DLC is mislabelled. It should be called just "Switchblade - Epic Pack".

I just think that if something is part of a pack it should be available for everyone that "buys" it to keep it fair. So simply don't include limited keys and nobody complains.
If they still wanted to include Cardlife they could have simply made it part of the raffle. Once the bundle ends everyone that bought one has a chance to win 1 of 10k copies. Easy, fun and no reasonable person would have grounds to complain.

yeah but that would make sense. We don''t have room for any of your filthy logic round here. Take your 💙 and get out of my site with your logic. Bah

Love you too :D
Common sense seems to be rare these days :(

lol, you guys (this whole convo tree) are too cute and wholesome, have my heart too :)
I'm planning on some more giveaways, currently just too lazy to sort through my keys :x

Aww thanks. I'd return the favor but it looks like past me beat me to it.

What's this?
Someone liking something I don't?
That can't possibly be true.
They must be liars.
:o)

Convoy is a great game, if you like FTL you should enjoy it. Otherwise, yeah a bit underwhelming so far. My main problem is I own most of the ones I'm interested in already. Still there could be some nice surprises. It's the only repeating bundle that I always get. And my only donation each year (outside my local ambulance services). Come on Humble, how about some SoulCalibur 6 Deluxe??? Ha ha, yeah right ;)
Comment has been collapsed.
Not to be that person but if anyone doesn't play Guild Wars and wants to get rid of they keys I'm all ears.
Comment has been collapsed.
Guildwars Nightfall appears to be for new accounts only. It won't let me add it to my account saying I have the content already, which I don't.

A week in, and still nothing that's making me want to jump on the bandwagon.
Comment has been collapsed.
how about peer pressure? Doo it... do it. All the cool kids want orphaned DLCs and games that have been rebundled a dozen times over... do it....
Comment has been collapsed.
Does Yogs actually do anything with choosing for these? I mean I thought so maybe initially but that seems like pretty crappy PR roght there. 'Hey everyone look at my good taste and great deals, come subscribe to my casts, be a patron. There's orphan DLCs in it for you.... Cmon you know you wanna."'
Comment has been collapsed.
Thanks for dropping the knowledge. I've never really gotten in to watching streamers so I've been coming at it from the HB side. That being said it's clearly a regularly run holiday type charity drive with some games added in to entice people.
So yeah do I wish there were more games I was interested in in it? Yep, I'm a greedy selfish human who's trying to get things for myself.
Am I salty or anyways upset about the items not being to my liking? No, if I wanted to know everything I could wait until the end and decide on purchasing then or just forgo adding more backlog that I'll likely not get to.
Besides it's not like this is the first time around for a Yogs holiday bundle, people should pretty much know what to expect by now, doubly so since Sensualshakti's provided links to all the previous bundles... Eh complainers gonna complain though I guess.

4 games claimed so far, and I though this will be just donation with nothing of my interest ^^
(Game Dev Studio, The Greater Good, Animal Super Squad, CardLife)
I hope CardLife will improve and make it out of early access, I'm always skeptical with MMOs. They usually don't pay off and servers get shut down -.-
Comment has been collapsed.
I would love to get this but there has to at least be some semblance of value. I know it's a donation but right now, the only thing I am interested in is the Guild Wars stuff. Hopefully they will add something decent to make it worth getting.
Comment has been collapsed.
I know it's a donation but
I've seen a few other comments saying the same thing... But every single HB bundle can be used as a 100% donation too, as long as the buyer takes a second to move the donation cursor(s) around.
