What you think about the new game console OUYA?

It will have success?

I know many gamers like Minecraft, it will arrive on OUYA?

Will you buy OUYA?

I wait opinions from you.

I have a PS3 and wii on for my TV. No need.

If I wanted to play PC/flash games I'd play them on my overpriced PC. lol

No, I spent 80$ on the better speced ODROID-U2.

The options and alternatives certainly aren't lacking. The support is more interesting question...

This is true of course but still, I think its more or less a good thing. The ODROID (and the Raspberry Pi, which are similar type products) will encourage more people to learn Linux and get familiar with it.

Also, these other devices are more dynamic than the OUYA. Sure, you can probably install another OS on the OUYA but these boards are made to do that. They can be made more easily into an HTPC and will also be better supported.

I should really grab an Raspberry Pi for home server. What's the point of fast internet if you don't use it ;D

Its decent although it is limited by the speed of USB. If you want a home server and not be too concerned with speed, should be fine. Otherwise, spend the extra money and get an NAS enclosure or a low end ITX build.

Don't see the point in buying this or nvidia shield. I have PS3 and will bauy next gen console, also i have PC and use it to play games and to watch movies, listening to music etc. It looks worthless to me.

I plan on getting one just because it looks a lot more open than the other systems will be.

Personally, I don't see the need for it. If I want to play a bunch of demos and freebies then I already have numerous outlets for an unlimited number of them from the comfort of my computer and its very lovely very spacious hard drive. The OUYA by comparison seems fairly limited, though the idea of bringing the games we love back to the family room is a noble one. To each their own in the end, I just hope that they're able to deliver the sort of leap forward that they've promised their faithful audience.

I had a pledge for it, but changed my mind towards the end. I will still consider buying it when it comes out and I see how many of its promises it actually delivers on. Though with BPM having come out since then I might just try and run some sort of console off of my desktop

No, because it's a joke piece of hardware for it's cost, controller, and so on. For $100 I'd rather buy a rasberry pis if I really wanted a portable media player. I'd rather just use a laptop and carry around a controller if I really wanted portable gaming and a media player.

Already bought it!!!
Because the idea is simply genius. Also cuz onlive & other devs are supporting it.
I don't need new perfect graphs. But solid gameplay & alot of emulators etcetera I can play on my tv. Also use it as a multimedia box
