You get 7 euro cent for cards, Lets not do the taxes here.
For a sack of gems you get 0.66 euro cents 0,66:1000*18= 0.188 euro cents you get less with making gems, as always.

correct me if i'm wrong since my math is usually terrible... but isn't selling cards like x2.5 more efficient than crafting gems?

= $0.03 profit
56 cards
= 1008 gems
= $1.68 profit

Badge or gem them up on or before the 4th.They'll probably sell for a nickel a piece on the last day, so getting that last badge can be fairly cheap by then.
