It is not applied to cryptic giveaways only, as it clearly states INVITE ONLY GIVEAWAYS. So what if no one else complains? I didn't complain either. I just stated that I THINK it is against the rules or should be in case it's not. In case it's not I'm more than glad to be corrected by any mod.

By your logic, I can create a Steam Group and share the links there simply because they can easily be found in the threads anyway. Yet it is against the rules to do so.

What would be a better way of doing what you did, is probably linking the thread and encouraging people to take part in it.

Anyway, that's my interpretation of that rule. Do as you wish and stop getting triggered especially when someone is not doing something to hurt in a way but rather to inform you. I have no reason to be hostile towards you and that was not my intention no matter what it seems like. I'm glad you are creating GAs for that train, but my opinion on this stands, nonetheless

No it doesn't. All invite only giveaways are supposed to remain private, and even if you aren't breaking the letter of that rule, I'd say you're breaking the spirit of it.

PS: A better thing to do would perhaps to have mentioned that you'd also taken part in the community train and just post a link to that thread
