Does your choice have anything to do with the recent support update cg applied? I'm guessing that the avalanche you guys received was only temporary (I closed my answered tickets ASAP).
About the re-rolling privileges... yeah, you guys should have the ability to do that, I believe, but my global understanding of how this site runs is laughable so my thoughts don't really count.

Had nothing to do with support changes. Just had to do with his priorities and his general vision of the future of the website, that's why I wanted to quit while i'm ahead. Just removing EVERYONE from support yesterday is what made me snap cause that means scammers are going to get off unbanned for awhile.

cg seems to have been pretty open to critique in the past few days. Can't there be a way to openly address these issues? I'm sure theres an agreeable middle-ground that would make everyone happy.

You should give him the benefit of the doubt. There have been lots of changes since I've been here (not much... 6 months) and I suppose that must've caused some stress to both mods and admins alike. It's odd that he didn't reply, but you should wait for a direct reply to be 100% sure.
Hopefully this thread will trigger a (constructive) reaction from cg's part. [edit: in the sense that, hopefully, he'll clear things out directly to you after reading this "open letter"]

When I visit SteamTrades, which is rare, I always re-notice and re-remember that you're doing a hell of a lot of shitwork on there and can never really believe that you've volunteered to do such a job.

Steam trades is a cancer just a scammers paradise. Impossible to get anyone to trust you when you have 0 rep, ended up giving all the games I wanted to trade away for free because anyone who wanted them was just some creep Russian/south American scammer. hope it dies.

Jumping off the train like everyone else.
I'd like to personally thank the majority of the community for being awesome and for dealing with me being an asshole for so long. I'm going to be stepping down from support and removing myself from all private giveaway groups. It was fun while it lasted, but seeing with how CG is handling the priorities of fixing the site is what is causing me to lose most, if not all interest in helping it last. My major issue is that he thinks more low priority things like a webchat or TF2 servers take priority over higher priority things like giving us the ability to answer the majority of tickets (we could never reroll or help people out with certain issues like that and the tickets were unanswered for weeks) and giving me at least the ability to delete reputation from people who have been harassed on steamtrades. I really don't know what the future of steamtrades will be without me helping it out, but I hope for the best, especially since no one else is dealing with scammers (at least for now)
See you all in the future if I decide to come back. And I want to apologize if I ever offended you, i'm just naturally a dick.
