How can I get the Amazon 5$ code?

I think if I purchased any game, amazon will give me a 5$ code.
Is it right? If it's right, how can I get the code?

I received an E-Mail saying I had $5 credit that would automatically be applied at checkout. No code, its just there on your account.

You got one $5 credit for a brand (EA, 2K, THQ, etc) yesterday (Dec 25th) for buying a game from that company in October/November. That coupon was good ONLY for Christmas Day, then expired.

You can also get a $5 credit which can be used on any 2012 Editor's Choice Digital Games which will become usable after January 1st (except for 2K, usable between December 26th and 31st) on any digital video game priced $4.99 (again except for 2K, $9.99) or more for buying any digital video game in 2012.

Got two codes yesterday to use on XMAS day but Amazon raised the prices on the games that could be used with the coupon. Pretty worthless.

You don't get a "code" code, it will just give the discount when you buy one of the games; in January. I don't know if you can check anywhere if you qualify.
