You need those specific songs. Try a VPN or something :3.
I mean, you could fast forward the same songs to the same point, but I'm not sure if you will end up at the same part of the song. Check the post about the lyrics made by that guy on page 2.

Of course we are most probably looking for 5 or 8 characters for a GA or ITH...but I'm not seeing anywhere to look.

i overwrote a file when saving a txt... had to start from scratch.
i couldn't find any codes, i think the puzzle is more like a treasure hunt using songs as hints, which makes it x100 times more complex for me as i don't understand most of them...

The songs are related to the message they are linked to. However, 'use the music' might mean we should take some of those lyrics literally.

No idea where the station is. Could be here or elsewhere. Some people figured they found the telephone, but the result was "mecorx : We're sorry; you have reached a number that has been disconnected or is no longer in service."

If it's any consolation.. I'm in exactly the same position - I got as far as that cat, even looked 'very carefully' (i.e all kinds of programs) at the image. The text around the image was presumably meant to hint at another 'thread' which I also looked at and found part of a link, but not all of it. And have watched all the Youtube videos, but I'm guessing that my brain just isn't wired correctly to be able to put 2+2 together in this case.
The various 'other language' characters used also may or may not be some clue - I found what language they are in (it was needed to answer part of the quiz that led to the cat) but I'm still hopelessly lost.
I have to admire mecorx for such devious and difficult puzzles but I am rather sad that I can't seem to get anywhere. Unfortunately my internet connection also sucks which means all those Youtube clips take several minutes to load.
