No, it's just how some people interpreted it on SG and it spread despite of having no ground. They started it by saying new games "and humble classics" I think - they didn't promise anything, just said that new games aaand maaaaybe older ones as well. Just the typical corporate way of leaving open all possibilities, while sounding good, as people forget to read the end of the sentence :P
